is it i am the only one who thinks this is disaster not innovation? project ARA rip off, looks very lame again no competition for samsung :( S7 destroys everything ,g4 was so close to ultimate phone only low end chipset prevented for becoming number one, but sorry guys this G5 nonsense not even close to G4

Skipp.. LG actually admit, no premium stuff insite our phone.. but we have it, just buy it seperate .. where is the idea of compact, easy and all in one...now i need to carry all those stuff with me all the time....

it's great to see companies trying new thing, it's refreshing.
i wouldn't like restarting the phone every time i swap a module, but i guess this is a 1st generation problem, probably if the sealed the battery it would've been a smarter implementation choice, all things they "added" probably would be possible with a specialized case. looking forward for the next gen "Friends"

Show stopper...This is great design. Finally a smartphone who bothers and believes in new innovations, who care for their customers. The replaceable battery, Modular camera grip, Modular Hifi DAC, Wide angle+Normal lens...What more does one want? The feast is on. I can't be any more happier. Samesong and Crapple, Better not launch your apples and lemons that looks and feels the same for past 3 years. Congrats LG from my bottom of heart.

The other modules seem a bit pointless to me (I don't have a cat!!) Hopefully some other better options will become available in future.
Screen is a real disappointment. Was hoping for a large AMOLED - but u can't have everything I guess!
