Yeah, 23 May 2010THis is bull crap, respect your customers google. Just beca... morei agree with sitcoms, you are being ignorant

Google are not to be blamed, they released the SDK for froyo to everyone and not just to Nexus, its upto HTC/SE/Moto etc.. and the Carriers to release the update with their preloaded content/skins.

HTC have already said the future releases will come with nothing less than Foryo, they are yet to say when the SuperSonic, Desire and Legend are joining in.

SE are yet to announce but might hit 2.1 with X10 first, or maybe their were being smart and purposely delayed 2.1 for a direct 1.6 to 2.2 jump

                Moto.. who cares about moto

                the chef is back people!

simon, 23 May 2010i agree with yeah why not stop the network operators from s... moreyou mix stuff up there, it's the manufactures that makes the phones, in this case, HTC made the Desire & N1, the network operators has nothing to do with the phone itself, they just smack some limitations onto the phone + their SIM-cards, i'm against that too, but the manufactures putting custom stuff onto THEIR phones, is acceptable and good in most cases, Google who makes the OS makes the basic Android updates, which the N1 runs, but it can't simply be slapped onto the HTC phones, since they run Sense, so HTC gets the updates from Google, then they have to make the new update work with their Sense UI etc, you got to understand that that can't be done within hours to make the customers happy and stop whining about Googles own pure android phone gets the update some weeks before their non-pure-Android phone.

FroYo is one deceptively big update. Massive changes right across the entire board. Very, very impressive and a wicked update. So glad I bought the N1 :D

... It's up to Samsung/HTC etc. to update THEIR ROMs...
Google has nothing to do with HTC Desire's, neither Samsung Galaxy S's etc. ROMs, please think a little before crying about it.

THis is bull crap, respect your customers google. Just because we don't own your ugly nexus 1, doesn't mean we should be penalized for it. The 2.2 should be available for all or none. Like spitting on your own customer's face. total BS.
