When battery technology is turtle-like slow in advancing, they change their focus on a different kind of advancement - which in this case is all about charging tech. It sounds relieving that at least one company is dedicated to redefine how consumers charge their phones' battery. Imagine charging a 5000 mAh battery to full in just 30 minutes or a 10k mAh battery to 100% in an hour. All those juice replenishes quick

Not sure why mobile companies are investing in this kinda tech. My LG G4 charges from zero to 100% in about 5 seconds by popping in a fresh battery.
Then you have to wonder how good this kind of fast charging is for the battery, general rule is the faster you charge the harder its on the battery. Which wouldn't be a big problem if it wasn't for that the majority of phones don't have swappable batteries. And if they had, there would not be as much use for fast charging tech either.
