Anonymous, 24 Feb 2016More cores more efficiency less consumptionNot necessarily. The only point to have more than a quad-core is in fact to split work between a lower powered set of processors and a high powered set of processors in order to achieve greater efficiency. However, just because that's the only reason to use more than four cores in a mobile processor right now does not mean that it is the best solution. You can get incredible efficiency out of a low core processor with optimization. Just look at Apple. And if the new Snapdragon 820 is anything to go by, four cores will work just fine.

Zopo Mobile is not able to repair / replace / refund my broken device ZP999 since Nov 15 2015 (15 weeks)!!! If you expect standard European warranty, rules and customer service don´t choose ZOPO. By the first problem with device you will be probably in troubles, ZOPO just sells new devices with good technical specs but without appropriate after-sale support (at least in Europe). I bought my device by the official EU distributor and I had already two warranty repairs (GPS, charging) with many problems and communication issues. Promises are not kept. ZOPO is not able to produce and deliver spare parts for devices which are only a few months old?! In addition to that there are no official updates for one year old devices (flagship ZP999) since Feb 2015 which is really a shame. If you read forums you will find similar stories. Btw ZP999 was also 299 Eur and I thought it would be a good purchase...

They say Mediatek x20 overheats a bit and difficult Architecture could also mean more energy consumption. Dunno why would one even consider using 10 cores, but i think it is more like commercial things. 10 cores sounds for those who are amateurs more appealing and more strong than 8 or 6. Anyway those doesnt know that this isnt correct.
More cores means just easier tasks, not more powerful device.

You definitely don't need ten cores. You don't even need eight. Right now, quad-core is the sweet spot for mobile devices. The only place you'd need more than four cores is a Windows computer (or I guess a Mac). I'm still curious about the performance, however. The x10 was a decent processor.

Please, admin, can you not ban those humiliating posts? This bring nothing to us.
I think phones like oppo are needed if we do not want to end with one cpu maker like intel in pc industry.
My biggest concern about Speed 8 is camera quality, Samsung S7 has made giant step forward...
