Or does following my comments all over here just to reply with nonsense make it all pinky for you?
If you are not a sony user, and show sony hate everywhere, why you keep reading sony threads?
Is it because of me?
Is it mutual love?

AnonD-370043, 25 Feb 2016Actually X series in my opinion is so beautifulIts a downgrade. Metal dual glass is more beautiful than plastic+metal back.

X performance is Sony listening to consumers. They didn't want a glass black, Sony changed it. They didn't want qHD screens due to battery life, they kept 1080p which looks fantastic on most screens. This is a good balance of features.

I have a SONY Ericsson Xperia X10 which still works until this day! I have replaced the battery and it still works great. The design and ergonomics of Xperia X10 was really great. I still remember, when I bought it, people were laughing, they said four inches are huge phone to make a call, and covering half of my face! Look at the phone sizes now! I had the last laugh! hahahahaha

AnonD-496071, 25 Feb 2016It doesn't seem they have changed much idk what sony are tr... moreDecrease production costs would be the most obvious thing, it will be cheaper for Sony to make 3 5inch X devices (of which only one is waterproof) than 3 different sized Z series devices (all of which are waterproof).
Now maybe Sony have a replacement flagship line in the works? I don't and cannot know. There are certainly those on here who like to think they know exactly what Sony's future plans are, maybe they in fact do, they may have some insider knowledge perhaps????
In the meantime however, in the uk at least, this will leave Sony in a pretty weak state, the Z5 series don't look particularly as attractive in 2016 as they did in 2015 (despite aggressive price cuts) and neither of the two new incoming devices are waterproof, which considering our climate here was Sony's major selling point of times past.
Sony are going to have to be on the ball when it comes to marketing this new X series, that's for sure.

Lot of sadist comments.
Sony didn't die or give up. They are launching a new product with different naming.

Time to buy Z5. But they still need to release different size of X series like compact and premium. Anyway 5 to 5.2 is ideal size for smartphone.

ohw no! i am loyal buyer of sony xperia devices. my experience on the phone was so fab. good camera, good performance, good resolution(even if it is IPS LCD) sony dont need super amoled dsplay to have good view of the phone. Fact(super amoled can burn your screen i know from 1-100%, 85% know that it can mark your screen/burn your screen if the is using that display). send me your emails and i will sent to you my phones that using super amoled display.

AnonD-391800, 25 Feb 2016Damn people, why are many of you so dense?
This X Perfor... moreWow hey, the X Perf is mid-spec??? With SD820, 3GB Ram, Fingerprint sensor, Android v6.0.1, secondary camera with higher MP than the Samsung S7s (premium phone) main camera...yes yes, very "mid-range" that.
So tell us Mr Sony (you), what will be the FLAGSHIP smartphone from Sony...
When?
What specs (full)?
What price?
And...have you already pre-ordered it?
Lol
