      Look forward to seeing more.
The A9 so far has been stellar. Absolutely beautiful, zippy and feels better than great. Very happy. The audio in HTC is superb. Don't really need boom sound. The clarity and quality is already good. Each to their own but people don't want to hear what your playing.

User of HTC M8. Love it. Hope the M10 will keep the speakers on the front of the phone. The fingerprint scanner could go on the back...Can't wait for the M10!!

They did a good job with the M9+ Supreme Camera, but the Mediatek GPU and battery were not up to par.

AnonD-77892, 26 Feb 2016and them? what is innovative for you? adding a bottom side ... moreThats not even the same thing at all. yeah the salsa had the battery remove from the bottom but not for any of the same reasons. The G5 has not only a removeable battery in a metal body, but it add functionality to your device. Everything anyone has they like to customize, computers, cars, actual cameras, etc. now you can get a really good phone, and make it tailored to what you need it for. Theres not many modules yet but they'll be making more and if they keep this design into the G6 and maybe even G7 who knows

b0ne, 26 Feb 2016wonders ay?With the hardware they had i say yes (4 UP). The M8's pictures looked great, decent enough to post on any social media website or just to share with friends. The resolution of course wasn't there because of the limited amount of pixels (8 would of been better), but you can't deny that they had the right idea. Look at companies nowadays, they're lowering the megapixel count and making each pixel larger. They've learned a thing or 2 from HTC, not to mention those front facing speakers everyone seems to be using now lol

Camera is another case and not worthy of being in a flagship phone, though.

I'm not an HTC owner or a fan, but I must admit, the strong combination of audio quality and camera quality on few HTC phones have created a league of its own! Their performance speaks and no sensible person can doubt that.

So, frankly speaking, I think HTC might as well break a leg with the M10.

Anyway HTC did influence a lot of stuff in the mobile world, the only problem is that they didn't know how to market it. I feel as if they're marketing team has always been lacking. Samsung and Apple are so good at pushing they're devices out there, and they've gained such a big fan base that they could release a rock with their logo and it would sell.. It's the way it is unfortunately..

The M8 did wonders with only 4 Ultrapixels. If you think about it they really pushed the hardware they had to the absolute limit, and the pictures it produced we're really quite pleasing. Daylight photos were decent, but low-light is where it really shined! I had high hopes that they would just include an 8 or 10 Ultrapixel camera on the HTC M9 and basically have the camera game on lock.. but to my disappointment they did not do that.. It feels as if other companies realized this before HTC. They realized that the number of megapixels did not really matter if you make each individual pixel larger.

I'm not saying that HTC is particularly late, but it's going to have something really amazing to top the best smartphone camera charts. I'm rooting for you HTC don't let us down!

                                  Cheers!

I'm starting to think that my M8 was actually equipped with some other than the "superior" 4MP UP-unit... Nothing else really would explain the huge experience difference in photo quality opinion between us.

Like I said, I viewed the photos on my PC and photoshopped them for printing. Contrast and the often-way-off-saturation was easy to fix that way while taking the pictures was a fast process on the location.

My Nexus 6 takes mostly good pictures with the auto-mode, but surely Photoshop is still needed at times. For me, it's a noticeably better camera phone and doesn't even require wonders to bring out great results. Comparing GSM Arena's reviews of both phones, I'd say they agree with me.
