I love HTC...but the reviews always put it down & hence the losses. I hope this time round all will be well. My M8 is the best phone I've owned so far & looking forward to the M10. Hopefully it can disapprove the negative critics.

I'm sorry my friend but only smart people can take good pictures with cameras on smartphone. Most of the time automatic shots doesn't satisfy you. Unfortunately technology made us slackers. I personally take most of my pictures in manual mode and believe me it feels great. Why we become like this? why other's need to think for us? why not using our own brain for such tiny matters?

AnonD-249419, 26 Feb 2016I have M8 for 1.5 year now and camera is still wow the crow... moreThe pictures taken with the M8 did look terribly blurry and not detailed compared to not-so-good-camera-phone Galaxy S4 I had before M8. Cleaning the lenses of the M8 did not help to bring out the claimed "amazing picture quality", but did help eliminate some of the blurriness.
Sometimes the colors were quite off on the M8 (the most usual scenario: skin color too yellow- or red-ish), but that was easily fixable on Photoshop - but the biggest problem of lacking details wasn't. Sure, if I had played around with the manual settings for hours per photo, I could've gotten better results... But why the automatic settings were so off to begin with? Not acceptable in my opinion.
But then again, even the GSM Arena review said it's not a match for the rivals in camera department, and I think that statement was very true based on my experiences as well. I guess I'm too demanding. :)

The camera of the M8 is the best among many cellphones, 4MP are enough for a telemovel, maybe a better zoom is needed.

So excited for this release. My M8 is amazing, the camera is great but it needs more, more pixels, 3X more ultra pixels compared to the M8...can't wait! HTC please do not disappoint I am counting on you!

Back in 2013 when One M7 released, it shocked everyone with that impressive design & BoomSound speakers and Ultrapixel camera. I remember when i was checking this phone out on this website i was dazed when i saw Camera : 4MP!! Really wondered if this is a joke or not. But it turns out its Ultrapixel which is kinda different story and a new approach in camera technology.It was a game changer. HTC had that idea about improving shots in low light condition in 2013. it made me laugh that every websites was comparing this 4MP with 13MP Samsung S4 bla bla and it was obvious that it can beat 13MP camera with ONLY 4MP. So time passed and now everyone is using this brilliant idea about low light conditions. You guys are so "Ingrateful" about HTC. Everyone, EVERYONE is using their idea about ANYTHING! Camera, Speakers, Design, Fingerprint sensor place in the back. Do you guys remember ONE MAX? where was the fingerprint sensor? now look at ANY smartphone, where is the fingerprint sensor place? You guys should learn from the past and then come here and throw some cheap comment about HTC.

Ridiculously "big" phone for only 5-inches and the camera is only pretty much on par with devices that are much older than the M8 itself. I did own the device for 1,5 years and never was happy with the camera.

QHD display, touch sensitive display, BOOMSOUND speakers, 64GB internal storage, SD card external storage, Ultrapixel camera (Kudos here htc for sticking to your guns), decent front facing camera, Metal design (quality look and feel), Fast charge (USB 3.0 charging), latest and greatest snapdragon, Last but not least; give it your HTC flare. Throw a secondary depth sensor in (m8), put a secondary camera on it (Evo 3d), Dot matrix case (m7), Build your awesome metal phone (m7)!

HTC is the worst company!
No update for older flagship like HTC One Max. Even Sony is still providing Android 6.0 for Xperia Z Ultra.
Shame on HTC.
