Due to that, no further discourse with you. As an M8 user im amply satiated by all means. I'll watching very closely on what will pan out from M10. Nonetheless, Htc for life no matter what

well, i guess people forgot the M8 design, it was just out of this world and am sure HTC - Here To Change, can do some wonders and bounce back... Its one of the name worthy gadget makers in the world. I hope to see they come out of their losses... Hope for the best and it would be a win for the customers!!!

i am desperately hoping they make this phone like A9 but better battery life etc. A9 is amazing. just need more RAM and battery juice. PLS HTC be smart FFS.

Good camera,build quality,sound,adequate battery ... enough for me to look away from Samsung.
Would have loved to have boom sound speakers though.
Nexus,LG,Sony ...not for us HTC lovers.

I really find it almost unbelievable to believe that HTC would actually put a decent camera on their flagship phone. As far as I remember, I haven't seen a single better-than-rivals-camera phone made by HTC yet. It would be damn time for that, as that is the company's Achilles heel. M8 was a disaster and because that phone, I can't see myself believing HTC's claims about the camera.

Htc has destroyed itself ,so far they have failed to deliver one complete smartphone, in one model they put a bad camera sensor,in next they omitt boom speakers and produces an iPhone replica

I had m8 but no purple issue.that issue was for first gen of M7 and after that fix that hardware problem. I spld my m8 and bought M9 that works great and after many updates the camera is one of the 2015 superior.
please speake about that you have experiences not to rave(m8 has purple camera and ....)

Kress, 26 Feb 2016By M7 and M8 they said similar words. How it ended we all know.M7 was a great phone, though. With the only weakness being the lacking 4MP camera... which additionally developed purple sensor burn over time.
M8 was almost perfect... save for the camera again. Weak 4 MP again. It didn't have the purple defect.... but it also lost the optical stabilization.
Samsung's f1.7 with decent pixel size will be tough to beat now. Also its waterproof now.
Especially if HTC also gives up one of their few advantages: stereo Boomsound.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2016problem is that they have kept it at 1.5-1.5 micron compare... moreG5 has 1.12 micron size and S7 has 1.4.
They will use the Nexus 6P sensor with 1.55 micron pixels, f/1.9 lens, phase detection auto focus, laser auto focus and OIS. This will easily destroy the G5 because LG said themselves they didnt upgrade the camera compared to the G4 because it was good enough.
The S7 will be the only challenge.
