Hei, actually Sony is taking LG G5 route, taking a flagship model but install a slightly less powerful processor, and leave everything inside the phone the same...well for Sony's case their body form are not exactly the same and the X comes without the waterproof

I hope Sony could make a midrange but flagship spec and have a reasonable price, not just premium and classy.
I also hope Xiaomi could make a superior quality phone and have a reasonable price, not just cheaper and copycat. they are less these..

Xiaomi mi5 is very good in all departments and sony is best in all department but still i will perfer a xiaomi phone because of it price and decent quality

I think it is a no brainer that mi5 won the vote count. This two phone is really an apple to apple comparison, both phone are FHD screen, IPS, 5 inch and everything in the specs are quite similar, except the price. Sony will sell this phone for $800 and xiaomi will sell for $400. Thats double the price, unless you are a die hard fans of sony, others will simply get the mi5. It prove that so many people outhere still believe that pricier isnt always better, " bang for the buck"

Thumbs up ngelx, innovation is to make a product qualitative and economic... And who says xiomi is a copycat,ios roots come from macintosh and apple has full control over their software.. Thats why they r able to build such a user friendly environment.. Now miui is an extension to stock android and xiomi can't control android software from basic than also they build a user friendly environment as apple does.. I nvr say thats apple is bad but xiomi in itself is innovation at such affordable prices..

Good qualit... moreCompare to the design mi 5 still copy others, why it already the 6th generation still a copycat? it is just a familiar phone from the market with better price but don't have a better image and personality.
Sony design is all the best just like steve jobs said, Japanese really work effort for the design and also the updates, I believe them.

I agree there are many people trolling here.
Good quality does NOT have to be expensive (overpriced)
Cheap does NOT mean poor in quality.
Xiaomi bring quality at affordable price.
Mi 5 is one example, best value for money.

and IF I have money for real flagship, I would pick samsung / apple instead.

Yes, it was and somehow it still is, but never like it was.
I know Sony makes quality products, but Xiaomi devices have excellent quality, too, and can compete one on one with those so called "big brands".
You don't have to trust me, but millions of people do believe in Xiaomi products.
Mi 5 is better than X Performance.

comparing Sony to Xiami???
at least compare it with one of the huawei flagships, huawei is a well recognised firm, have products in other sectors other than mobile phones, e.g. telecummunications, modems, telecommunicaiton infra structure, silicon ships, etc
or compare xiaomi with Oppo, oneplus, Meizu, Lenovo (mobile), ZTE ....etc
