As this is an Apple product, I expect it to be full of off-the-shelf parts with Apple pretending they developed the parts.

The best thing of the release of the iphone se is to bring back the trend of the compact phone. Hopefully all major brands will release good specs compact androids phone again. Iphone with ios are good but it's too pricey with the specs offered. The 5.5 plus or note phone are enjoyable for multimedia uses but not cool to be carry around in a pocket or handled with single hand.

I like that. This device wont be updated yearly anyway. The 5s has been out for 3 years now almost and it still sells. The iPhone SE will only be updated when there's a need, like now, for the 5s to be updated. The specs have fallen short. So in about 3 years, we'll just see a new iPhone SE. It'll be clear which is which between old and new. Anyway this name is a million times better than 5se.
