                why not just using nokia 230,

                  Why do they even bother making a small screen with soo much bezel.
                  They are canceling the small form factor. My Sony Z3 Compact is 127cm Tall and iPhone 5S is 124 cm. Z3 Compact has 4.6inch Screen !!!

                                  Most likely cause apple wants to see how their user base will respond to a smaller form factor before committing to adding it to the range, hence "Special Edition".
