There are very likely millions of Chinese waiting for other color variants & the Mi5 Pro.
There is no chance for other markets to get one if Xiaomi keeps insisting on fulfilling all demands in China first, before going to other core markets. You can basically say Goodbye from now to the Mi5 Pro because it will even be much much more limited in availability.
What is surprisingly stupid for me is the fact Xiaomi doesn't even realize that millions of units they sell in China is basically exported unofficially to other markets by sales agents who take lots of profits. You'll end up seeing unofficial sellers in your country selling this product at ridiculous price with no warranty & no after-sales. Many of them will be dissappointed by this "grey market" products due to many potential problems, like fakes, damaged items, etc. which in the end damages Xiaomi's own reputation.
So, why not just officially export a part of their stocks to other markets, while avoiding the distribution channel problem ? Isn't it just the same thing ?
Take 20% out of those 16.2 pre-ordered items now because that will be unofficially exported out of China by sales agent anyway. It's Xiaomi, who seems to push the idea of grey market in the first place.

Will Xiaomi be able to send all pre-orders at once ? Not a chance. They will probably send in waves....many many many waves.
What is the implications to the other markets ?
You'll probably get one until the next 6-8 months, unless Xiaomi change their china-first distribution policy to equal market priority.

Be careful with this phone. Backdoors are installed in mi4 .proven practically. They will stor all the information with the help of backdoors.same thing will happen with this phone also.There is no security with this phone
