they must supposed to keep cover for camera like n97 and n82, n85 but may due look they fail to do this with that.

hi i am keenly waiting for this amazing machine, i am i phone user since two years but i am sure that this phone will change my taste, if the feature which were mentioned are same than this could really beat the market,i am sure that battery lifer will be quite good as well and touch will be more faster that like n97, and other phones.

Apple is dropping like a brick in terms of popularity. In the best selling country, US the iPad sold 1 million. It is estimated that more than one BILLION notebooks have been bought during the same time. What a flop.
Also this device beats the 4G even before it was launched and costs 3 times less for double the everything;)

It stuffed up again in terms of the battery and a few things but I drained the battery completely and charged it fully and its work like new!!!

From reliable sources this phone's anodised aluminium body is of very high build quality and ultra light weight and puts many smartphones out there to shame. Comparing this device with 5530 shows how much you just hate nokia and you can't stand the fact that they've designed an attractive device. That looks to be very successfull

*In terms of good hardware i was referring to the 3D Accelerator, 12 MP camera, 720p Videos, 5 band 3g, 16gb internal space plus 32gb expandable, etc you get the idea.
Also, there will be a 32 gb version of the Nokia N8. Someone experimenting with the phone accidentally blurted it out to me not knowing that people don't know about the 32gb version. He didn't mention the 16gb version though. You can dismiss my comments if you wish and I my self am not sure if the 32gb version is real but hope it is and think it is very likely it is real.

Nokia seems to package a lot into their phones but the problems lies a few months after using them. I've used a few nokia phones in the past few years starting from the 3650,7610,N70,N95,N82 and now the 5530XM. But most phone give a lot of trouble after 3-4 months of use. The slow down big time & the rebooting issues are well known.

Camry, 30 May 2010My apologies, I confused the Galaxy's 1GHZ processor with t... moreActually in terms of price the n8 looks like mid range device it should be sold for around 550-750$ but the samsung galaxy is highly priced at around 1000-1200$ i don't expect the new iphone to be anything below 1000$. ( The n8's price is on pre order expect it to fall as time goes on and the phones are unlocked and not in any contracts thats why you have to pay the full price at once in order to purchase it)

The iPhone 4G is expected to be at 600+ euro where as the Nokia N8 will be well under 500 euro with the 470 euro pre-order price at amazon being an extreme price. The relatively low price and good hardware is what give the N8 an edge over the others.

Yes I agree, its all up to taste. The reason why I said the three are competing against each other is because all three of them are smartphones and should be around the same price tag.

Camry, 30 May 2010I'm laughing my head off all the time when I see all these ... moreN8 has some better features than samsung galaxy (camera) and also the galaxy has some edge over the nokia n8(display) to mention few,so lets not completely say that the galaxy is better than n8 or the n8 is better than galaxy because each device has its own targeted market for those who like to take pics will tell you n8 is a better device and for those who would like a superior display for watching some movies will tell you the galaxy is better,as i said before it all depends with your taste. FYI the nokia n8 doesn't have 1ghz processor

So multimedia genes are more stronger on N8. Though its not very fast, but N8 is as fast as a normal man can do his 98% tasks easily.
While Galaxy S and Iphone both meant to be fast ui.. Galaxy S has the advantage of Super Amoled.
