ICE, 07 Mar 2016Comparing an apple and a banana... f3.5 vs f1.7? And then h... moreTo have same conditions with depth of field and aperture size you would have to put the Canon settings to F12 and ISO 64000. What would the image quality at the canon be like at that ISO? Crap, I'm pretty sure it doesn't even have this setting.
One thing where phones crush even the most expensive DSLRs is clearly ISO performance and that's why phones there days so awesome pictures even with tiny aperture sizes

Incredible. In the first video the Samsung was clearly faster than the Canon. Heck, even my Nikon can focus faster than the so called 'Dual Pixel' on the Canon. Impressive things from Samsung.

Then again, I think a lot of those incidents happen in the poorer areas. Maybe that explains it.

Please dont think that the quality of the 70D suffered because of ISO 6400. With a sensor as small as the one in the S7, ISO 2000 is quite the strain. Well done S7.

But an improvement in autofocus doesnt really warrant a change IMHO. The wideangle element to the G5, on the other hand, is quite the gamechanger.

                  Useful

We have this advance smartphone cameras everywhere. Millions preorder for Galaxy S7. I don't see any result from all of those sales. Not just Samsung but all the flagship manufacturer. What I am talking about? I'm talking about all the blurry photos of UFOs and Yeti people share online in '2016'! Where are all the good cameras? Even critical moment like an accident or a robbery is captured with blurry photos and blurry videos. Like, seriously! Think about it. Millions of people have a high quality flagship phone from Samsung, Apple, LG, Motorola, HTC and more but all the netizens only manage to post blurry photos of awesome things that need to be in HD at least. Dissapointed by harsh reality. Don't mind me. Just complaining my heart out. Ok. Move along. Nothing to see here. Bye.

This man should act in StarWars :)

Comparing an apple and a banana... f3.5 vs f1.7? And then he moves his, errr, face, and the calculator so close to the camera that it goes beyond the closest working distance of the lens! Better image quality? ISO6400 vs ISO2000? Makes a lot of sense this. Gullible much.

But i admit that for a phone, i am really impressed with that auto focus!
If they would make macro lenses for the S7 I'd even consider buying it hehehe..
