HTC management is responsible for this.
They just ignored it customers feedback in terms of the design of the phone, and pricing.
M7 was relatively OK design, but 4MP camera was a really bad decision.
HTC didn't listen its customers, continue with 4MP camera on M8, and even worse the M8 came with the stupid black stripe for the HTC logo. This made M8 bigger in overall size, but smaller usable screen.
HTC phone is behind competitors in terms of the design, but the price is higher than LG and sometime Samsung. The management thought it likes Apple, which can demand for the higher price.

The only two reasons why I wouldn't like to buy HTC is their camera quality and their high prices in my country. Other than that they excel in sound and design. Also their UI is less taxing compared to other vendors

HTC desrves way more , cheating the customers with same old design and simply changing the processor and RAM. Local market mobiles started coming with good designs and better configurations

One thing is for sure htc is the only company who have made world's most beautiful phones. Even the much touted design of iphones look ugly compared to htc flagships. The only good thing on an iphone is the apple logo on the back.

Remember that what will happen if one or two companies own the market is they will milk the customer with stagnant products and rising prices. It's not a situation you should wish for.

I always see only htc outs their revenue more often than others. It has always been stated as "loss". Aren't they ashamed of themselves to reveal it to the publc?

One of the source for me to know what had happened to HTC lately is by logging in to GSM Arena. While Samsung is the other way around where you could see them selling their phones successfully because of their marketing strategy.

HTC never listen to customers needs or requirements always manufacture phone on their own and forced customers to buy so it's payback time for HTC
Why to manufacture so many phones with slight variation create one flagship phone twice in a yr create a demand in customers if not Feb will not be low revenue it will continue for long

HTC phones has a lot of issues. For me because 1st, it's not a user friendly phone , 2nd it's pricey , 3rd the quality is not that good compare with the price range they have with different phones, HTC you need to wake up now and do something about it.

It feels bad to see the Giant company is struggling these days...
But no one is responsible for this but HTC itself... Their bad designs and steep prices make them suffer...
HTC can only be survive if they offer better phones in the low cost...

HTC Desire series is some what known in India but their after service sucks to the core.
Sony, HTC and LG as well will sure learn a lesson like Nokia and Blackberry.
Samsung learnt and building foundation back.
