Here apps will stop working on Windows 10 in June, WP8 apps will get no more updates

15 March, 2016
Here's some bad news if you're using any of the Here apps on Windows 10 Mobile, Windows Phone 8, or Windows 8. Basically Here will stop developing all of those. What's worse though is that the Windows 10 Mobile apps will actually stop working on June 30.

Here apps was good. But I don't think it will affect o.s. All android phones uses Google map. If googleapps coming to windows 10,that will be a smart move.

LOL @ Microsoft. Soon they will take back their Windows 10 platform for something else if they even have the faith to try and create another platform. I think the X-Box is the only product that's selling alright for them. Windows 7 forever baby, lol.

Nokia should have ditched Microsoft and embraced Android in 2010.

What to expect from a company who is busy developing GMO's for food and manufacturing Zika Virus mosquitoes to control the world population? I had thoughts to update when there is a WIN 10 update for my Nokia lumia 1520. But I will skip it. Ever since Microsoft started to handle the Nokia's Lumia series, The company's decline started. Now windows are insisting the PC users with their WIN10 update. I won't update my Windows 7 PC to Windows 10. Spy-ndows, You will be literally hated by everyone !!!

I don't use Here maps since the native Maps app was introduced in Windows Mobile.

The memo says people can use Here on Android, on iOS and on Windows phones - but only on those with "Nokia" written on them.
Wow, GSMArena thanked me for the tip. Today was a good day. :-)

Nothing else left in the WP basket. As the MS Office for mobiles (other Microsoft golden egg) is not exclusive to WP only and is quite successful on Android OS so WP is maybe in its final days.

Windows phone is technically dead when Nokia left the field. The only thing that made me go to Lumia was Nokia.
Microsoft just destroyed everything. They don't know how to support its platform and how to keep developers working.
Microsoft should've given Nokia a full control to develop and evolve WP.

Nokia should've ditched Microsoft years ago..
Windows OS for phones seems to get the same fate of BB10.
