Who says S60V5 (symbian^1) is not a stable OS?
Btw, those people who wants Nokia powered by MeeGo OS, well, put ur next hope to N9. But if this not goes to plan, MeeGo i think, will fall to be an internet tablet of Nokia only with intel powered.

o boy! there's something called "Nokia N9" that is coming. and it'll be placed above the Nokia N8! wonder what could it bring in with it? a better camera sensor with aperture control and HD videos with focusing options and a more updated, stable and performance oriented OS with a quicker CPU, may be!

Cant say about S40 touch screen phones. They may use one of these 3 res.: QVGA (240x320) / WQVGA (240x400) / HVGA (320x480) so according to them screen size will be most likely 2.8" / 3.0" / 3.2"

Niraj, 11 Jun 2010Current S40 6th edition only support maximum resolution of ... moreis that true? well, if that's the case i'm fine with a 3.2in touch screen phone.. neway, the first three iphones have the same resolution (320x480).. so it'll be fine i.. as long as it's S40 and have the specs that i mentioned.. also microsd card slot as well and bluetooth of course..
i really hope nokia makes a phone with these specs!!

i think there is no problem with this phones it only depend on how you use it and handle it sometimes people tent to give their child to stop them them from crying and he or she would put the anger on it and through it away then people will start to make excuses that the phone is not on quality ,my advise take of it and it will last you longer, from herman fisha at sandhoughston seventh federal road

neway here are the specs that im hoping nokia will release on a phone:
- 3.2-3.5in capacitive touch screen
- at least 360x640 resolution, 16m colors
- S40 OS.. yup! it may be old but i love this OS and i want it to be done on a touch screen phone really bad!!
- 3.2-5MP camera with carl zeiss optics, autofocus with dual led flash
- D1 video recording at 24-30fps
- stereo speakers (loud and good sounds)
- 3.5mm headset port
there!! i'm really hoping Nokia will release a phone with these exact specs, and i'll defenitely buy it!! DEFENITELY!!
I'm hoping that it will be the other X5 or maybe X4 or C4 in the distant future..

1. No Carl Z... moreagree except "Size of lens" because Samsung S8300s lens(which according to GSMA its video recording is best)is 8M and its size and shape is same of those 5Ms, but since the gap between Samsung and Nokia in technology is significant(and it's getting wider day after day)and Nokia usually uses Samsungs at least a year ago techs(please!!!only worthy Nokias Symbian,was Microsofts property and they sold it to Nokia)so it's not unlikely that your words come true.
whether true or fake after N95 Nokia is falling straight where Palm was few months ago and i can barely see the day topics whooping : Nokia whom someday acquired today is target of acquisition...

I thought we were only getting n series music phones, then the x6 arrived, supposedly had better loudspeaker. Which phone is the N91? C7 loudpeakers doesn't look right placing them with the camera. I hope the shape changes & speakers & some extra style, or elegance to it gets achieved. Guesse it won't be made out of aluminium like the n8. Being a lower end phone.
I'm surprisingly one of the few people who look for good loudspeakers in a phone. That's why the samsung beam takes my fancy to be possibly my next phone unless the n8 is better, or n9. The wave has too small a screen to upgrade to it regardless of better loudspeakers. It's got to be a monster phone with monster upto date specs & great loudspeakers?
Anyone else on the same wavelength as me?
