Antutu must die and be replaced by benchmarks that actually show which phone is faster. At this point Antutu only sells misinformation to people and I feel bad for people that pay attention to it, Antutu devs are clearly paid by Apple and Qualcomm (the two evil companies of mobiles).

That's a vicious myth you're perpetuating. Qualcomm only used highly clocked cores for their first 2 cores just to game the benchmarks and show themselves faster. One more reason why Antutu is stupid, it cares about single core performance while it *doesn't matter* on Android anymore...
I feel bad for Qualcomm fans, you've been trumped once again by this greedy company, Qualcomm...

More evidence that Qualcomm gamed the benchmarks. Imagine how even faster Exynos would be if they were not to downclock, probably beating iphone 6s in that very test (now it's losing by 7 seconds).
Shame on you Samsung for releasing the Snapdragon version, you shot yourself on the foot once again...

AnonD-501073, 25 Mar 2016This is why I always say kids, don't believe in benchmarks.... moreWill need to wait and see how the LG G5 performs (which has the same QHD res as the S7), then everything will be cleared whether something's wrong with manufacturer's optimization or it's another Qualcomm's fault for repeating their mistake after the failure of SD810.
Mi5 getting "destroyed" by exynos S7 is never a surprise, considering you can get the former by almost half the price of the latter.

This is why I always say kids, don't believe in benchmarks. It's all about optimization. Exynos >>> shitty sd. Even the mi5 with sd820 and only 1080p display, got destroyed by exynos.

BUT, if you compare games like Asphalt of GTA: SA gameplay on the Mali variant is extremely smooth compared to the adreno.

Please compare the GPU too. I found that adreno 530 is a lot better than Mali T880MP12 in antutu benchmark. Maybe some tests like heavy games or other GPU benchmarks like gfxbech or 3Dmark?
By the way, the rumored antutu score of HTC m10 is ahead from s7 both exynos and snapdragon version. Maybe HTC is better in optimizing the snapdragon?? Let's see the performance of G5 or HTC M10 ...
I will see the s820 performances in other smartphones. If the majority of smartphones that uses S820 is worse in performance compared to S7-exynos, than Snapdragon needs to work harder ....

What happened qualcomm? Maybe this is what happens when same company makes chips and phones? same as apple? so they optimise everything to work very very well with their device. Exynos way better in battery life, and it seems, in speed?.
I hate these "speed tester" youtubers when they are blind or whatever, we NEED to know that phone is cool down and not any of them overheated. If he had included to show us temperatures at the start and temperatures at the end, speed test would make way more sense. Also i wouldnt mind if he made a boot up test seperately at the start. So would be nice to see if boot time differs too.

I w... moreEveryone wondering of why Samsung uses SD 820 in US, China, Japan should know that it's because of the CDMA your carriers use! THAT simple! Qualcomm CPUs have embedded CDMA modem while Exynos CPUs do NOT, if Samsung was to offer the Exynos variant for US, China, Japan it would mean they would have to include (=buy=higher cost/device) a separate CDMA modem chip from another manufacturer (like they did on the S6 for US, China, Japan). It's THAT SIMPLE!!! They just want to maximize their profit margins (as any company would and does)!!!

The SD810 uses *stock* ARM developed A57 and A53 cores. while the SD820 uses kryo/hydro/whatever cores developed completely in-house by qualcomm, their only thing in common with other mobile SoC is the ARMv8 instruction set.

Didn't the Exynos have better power consumption also? In the test gsmA did between the two in the S7, it got several hours more in the rating.
