Two different chipsets, same speed? Perhaps not.

Maybe they have a contract with Qualcomm or any other hidden marketing strategies. OR let us see that in this way : how you can tell people that Exynos is better than SD ? Same software & same hardware except for the cpu and gpu, there you go ! now the world knows that Exynos is just better.

no wonder y apple buy all of its essential components for their iDevices from samsung

SnapDragon processor supports all the radios used in North America. I think the Exynos doesn't support the CDMA radios used by Verizon & Sprint.

Well, we all knew the exynos would be better so no surprises there.
            Faster and more efficient.

Qualcomm did okay but not good enough. If they don't up their game further they're gonna start losing market share

Snapdragon processors last year, namely the 810 suffered much overheating, and the new 820 is an upgraded 810 with basically the same architecture which means even if it is to be overclocked, overheating will be horrendous, so better keep it this way.

SD consume your battery too fast not unlike the Exynos. I wonder why Samsung use the SD if they can use the Exynos with the s7?

I have a question, SD820 is supposed to have a feature called SenseID 3D fingerprint scanner, is it available on the SD820 version of S7/Edge? if no, why?

I think this is just a case of a lack of optimization of software for the hardware.

First of all, Snapdragon 820 has only 4 cores, while the Exynos is using 8!
Second, i think that sammy overclocked their processors, while leaving the SD820 on "default" to prove us their chips are better.
                                I'm not an expert but i don't think it's a fair fight.
Have you seen the score M10 from HTC got? It topped every phone out there.. and that's cos i think they altered the "default" SD820.
Anywho, I'd still get the SD version if it would be world-wide. But as it's not, I'm gonna go with the X Performance from Sony or M10 from HTC.
