This is getting ridiculous. I cant believe we are seeing this with Apple’s flagship product. If antenna or yellow spot screen discoloration issues were not enough, there are now reports of unhappy customers who have got new iPhone 4’s with flipped buttons for volume rocker. And moreover, if you press the “-“ button, it will result in increasing of the volume while pressing “+” will result in volume getting quieter.

[deleted post]If you call the iphone4 an epic failure when it's predicted to sell around 1.5 million units on its 4th day, what would you call the n8 if it sells less than a million in 4 days? Nokia fanboys are in dreamland once again with their premature predictions.

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2010There are four things you can do to rid of this problem. F... moreGet it, you cant fix a short-circut with a sofware fix!
No, most pople cant learn not to ever hold it in a way that short-circut the antenna. Its the most logic place to put your hand, when holding it in left hand... be it your left handed, a right handed person that are using two hand operation, or a right handed person carrying something heavy in the other hand.
Sure you can get a bumper or case. But then your phone does not look the same, t gets thicker, and thus does not live up to its specifications.

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2010Too much error? So far this is the only issue that's been c... moreThey cant fix the antenna issue with software!
Please get it already.
What happens is that you short-circut the antenna. Boosting the reception by software, wouldnt help, the antenna is still short-circuted.
About the yellow spots, that explanation is lame, just tells you to wait and see. Some report of spots changing is size depending on phone temperatures.
Does not seem likely they will disapear just like that.
And its not very uncommon with yellow tints on phone displays, it has happend to other manufactors. I had to exchange a Nokia, due to that, it didnt go away by its own.
