You are holding your iPhone 4 the wrong way, you know!

25 June, 2010
Yesterday's iPhone 4 launch was full of surprises - dead-on-arrival, yellow spots or white dots on the screen, lost reception signal and a bunch of happy users. But while yellow spots will likely disappear...

Apple could have placed the part where the antennas meet on the top of the phone where nobody holds, cover, it. Iphone is a fashionprodukt, not a phone or even a multimedia device.
Nokia is not as good as fans say because Symbian crashes many times, I have had 4 complete crashes on my N97 mini where I had to reinstall the OS and I even had to reinstall QuickOffice after paying for it again. And Opera Mobile often completely forgets all my settings and bookmarks even without a total symbiancrash.
X10 does not support multitouch in hardware, and it does not even have a FM-radio, but it gives you a radio "on the side" and I guess the next step from SE is to provide a camera "on the side" but not in the phone itself.

My comment about a bad review of symbian^3 was from phone arena, not mine. I wish nokia good luck, although I really doubt if meego or symbian^3 would take off as successfully as ios4, but we'll see.

I think gsmArena should be fair with all companies.Without checking explicitly how could they say that holding iphone in wrong manner will cause signal dropping problem.I read people commenting that they are using iphone and they did not face any problem of signal dropping. As gsmArena did with x10 in starting review they wrote that x10 has bad sound quality and after 2,3 days they update their information and wrote it has best sound quality so they should not upload any kind of information without checking it.

Android on the other hand has proven to be successful and you can see the proof right now. It has been growing ever since the introduction of the G1 and its improvement with the Droid.

I could see MeeGO be an excellent OS for netbooks and tablet devices though, as it is based on the Linux Fedora system. On phones, let's just see how its real-world performance is compared to other mobile operating systems.

After Sony Ericsson and Motorola, is it now "the" time for Apple? Or perhaps the beginning of "that" time? Pre-amble, to be precise? OverRated, OverPriced handsets with UnderQualified spec-sheet finely blended with a twist of snob attitude and arrogance.

As it so happens to be that the difference between insanity and genius is measured only by success. The iPhone users' insanity paid a lot to make Apple a genius. So far so good. But apparently the course has already started to reverse.

GVS, 26 Jun 2010The upcoming nokia N8 will overrule the famous Iphone4That's what nokia fanboys said months before the n96, n97, and the n900 were released. And none of them killed the iphone. So if I were you, I wouldn't be too confident about the n8, most especially when there's already a review of symbian^3, and it doesn't look good at all.

Arcaine, 26 Jun 2010Apple should revise their produce again. To much error on t... moreToo much error? So far this is the only issue that's been circulating and that haters have been making a big deal of. So what too much error are you talking about?

Haters couldn't find any major issue with iphone4 so they make a big deal of this quibble. Again, Apple will be releasing a software fix early next week. So what will you whine about next? And please don't bring up that yellow spot because that's already been explained, that it's caused by the adhesive that they used that hasn't cured yet and should disappear after 2 to 3 days of use.

There are four things you can do to rid of this problem. First, do not cover that opening on the lower left corner, which is actually very easy to get used to for I already have. Second, purchase a case or a bumper, which most users do anyway, and that would totally rid of the problem as well. Third, wait for the 4.0.1 software update that's coming up early next week that should fix this problem. Or fourth, simply don't buy this device.

As for me, this issue does not bother me much at all, and I go for option #1 which I already got used to.

[deleted post]Don't get too sure about that. As far as I know, Android is getting more and more successful with each update and increase in app library.
