I have had two Samsung phones now, both of which I have never had a problem with the battery life. I use my phone regularly, and heavily. I presume the reason you are having problems is because you are failing to let your battery fully discharge - by charging a battery that has not fully discharged you risk the potential of damaging it and reducing the future life of the battery. Don't blame the manufacturer for your failures!

It only means that more phones would be needlessly replaced (dead or dying battery is not a fun thing).
Sealing a consumable (and a battery is a consumable) greatly decreases the lifespan of a phone. That pushes people to buy a new phone every two years.
I'm actually furious that everybody's doing it and very much worried, it's companies ruling against consumers and people should start preferring phones without sealed batteries so that to make a lesson of the companies that continue this atrocious , anti-consumer tactic...

Linas, 07 Apr 2016That is probably true. Obviously, the degradation of the ba... moreThere is absolutely no reason to change your phone every two years, that's a waste, new phones hardly put new features anymore. Besides it's harder to resell or give it to family.
300 full charges is a conservative estimate. If the battery was low quality it would be even less full cycles.
300 full charges rarely means 2 years. Often you forget your phone on AC, it discharges to 99% and then recharges again, those count to the grand total. Under heavy use it's less than a year, under medium use is about 1 and a half. You have to account the fact that you're charging more frequently as time passes.
Lastly, just use an Amperometer to measure your phone's battery. How many days worth of battery you have means nothing to me. You can well make very conservative use (in which case what's the point of an expensive phone) or you may indeed be an outlier.
Just measure your phone and then report back...

This was the funnies comment seen this week for sure. How lost you are?
IPhone and s7 cost almost same to build. You know companies only make profit when they actually SELL the device. So if Apple selling 60 million iPhones and samsung selling let's say 15 million S7, of course profits with Apple is a LOT bigger.
Only way samsung can make profit is actually sell those high end phones, same goes for every company ;)
