Well I thought I should try the htc brand. But after reading about the downgrade of specifications in certain regions. I have decided to not try this brand at all.

[deleted post]What they meant is some regions will be unlucky to get HTC 10 Style with Snapdragon 652 and only 3GB of RAM. Meaning they won't get HTC 10 with Snapdragon 820.
If you read to understand then you get the message right, if you read to judge you won't get it. So you went with the heading "HTC 10 Lifestyle is the flagship for some unlucky regions". I believe you quote GSMArena wrong here.

I have M8, really love it, Almost buy M9 last year but I feel it just a bit different so i wait for m10 but this is what i get,,, lower hardware spec but same price. i read the spec already i love the idea of google application instead of customize app like other, design is acceptable quite nice for me, for camera i believe s7 might be better but m10 would be good enough (ois front camera should be nice). then i reallize that htc will sale downgrade version in my country this is make me very upset and i will buy s7 by today. HTC this is so waste my time for waiting M10.
I believe this is one of reason that while htc come out so late. they intent to sale spec ram3G snapdragon 625 which they already production but then samsung and lg or other announce higher spec then htc have to change a plan to produce higher spec. now what can they do. they produced the lower hw version already. so they design to sale this in some regions that htc didnt care about market.

I was really confused between HTC M10 and Samsung Galaxy S7. I want to thank HTC for making me easy to choose between them...My pick S7.
HTC is going to bring M10 to India, after it will get outdated as a dumping market like Apple do with their older phones.

As long as it's 300 $ cheaper i don't mind. 652 processor is good enough , the only thing i'll probably miss is that extra 1gb ram, but 3gb is enough as well , so bring on the cheaper flagship to Bulgaria, so even we can afford it !

Very sad and shame for HTC to underestimate the Indian market by bringing in a downgraded version of the new HTC 10. This is the mistake companies do by underestimating huge markets like India. This may very well contribute towards extinction of brands in popular and potential markets. Why can't HTC learn from the success of apple and Samsung in India? They should bring both models to India to cater to wider audience. I was keenly awaiting for the launch but hugely disappointed now.. This won't suit my 'Lifestyle' sadly..

Lol, so many people thought they need a high end soc today to have a smooth experience, and all they do is browsing, texting, checking email and facebook, and maybe some 2D casual games. That's something a Snapdragon 400 can do it well if it has a good optimized rom. Indeed, this s652 is even faster than last year's s808. Only the powerusers and gamers would care the specs, and they are smart enough to find alternative choices.

HTC.....RIP. Nobody can save you. Already you are in deep trouble and again these worst decisions. Mi5 is coming with SD820. Whats going on with HTC. Horrible strategies!!!

This can be one of the biggest mistake HTC might do unless they price far cheaper than s7 & g5. & Good pricing is not HTC's strong suit.
