HTC 10 Lifestyle is the flagship for some unlucky regions

12 April, 2016
Snapdragon 652 instead of 820, 3GB of RAM and Cat. 6LTE. Same cameras, at least.

Just screw local market then, and import from other countries. For that price, you may as well get a phone that you want, not the one that has been shoved down your throat.

They say, India is the next big Mobile market after US and China. Now all they do is dump the second grade mobiles here. First Xiaomi decides not to bring Mi5 Pro version to India, and now HTC decides Indians deserve Lifestyle version. Though I am not a fan, Samsung and LG are better in this aspect as they are launching high-end versions here. Otherwise the discrimination and third world treatment still continues by Cellphone makers.

Disappointed to know HTC is selling downgraded version in India. Was waiting to buy it. Not anymore.

Pathetic decision by HTC to not bring the proper flagship to a bigger market like India. Really disappointing and makes no sense. They don't have interest in Indian Market why even bring the lower version Lifestyle to Indian Market? Utter non-sense.

Snapdragon 652 with a QHD Display..

We have to wait & see how it turns out..

          Snapdragon 650 & 652 are perfect for FHD Display & are near equal to 810 & 808..

I waited 3 months anticipating the launch of the HTC 10 powered by a Snapdragon 820. This approach of top manufacturers towards one of the hottest smartphone markets is just pathetic.

AnonD-519045, 12 Apr 2016feeling so sad that i m in india.. i wanted the higher end... moreSame here man. I was eagerly waiting for the SD820 version. I'm sure anyone who ever compares phones would never buy this instead of the S7. I'm a longtime HTC fanboy but I'll never buy this phone. I feel like I'm being discriminated. HTC should give users the choice instead of deciding themselves.

Indonesia also getting the lifestyle version. confirm by its official web in http://www.htc.com/id/smartphones/

I'm actually excited about the lifestyle version, think about the more baterry life and cheaper price ^^

And as far as I can tell, I don't think the pricing will be all that different. It's just my opinion though.

Well SD652 has roughly the same performances as the last year SD810 minus the overheating! And altough is a bit weaker in GPU compartment,in intensive use cases (since it won't throtle down) could be very well better option than the last year fiasko!
Well SD820 is still the better option, but sigh 99% of the people could'nt anyway tell the difference in real life usage.Better still if it comes at (much)lower price.
                        Cheers

I will never buy htc smartphone. Htc lifestyle sucks really bad! Go sell somewhere. Don't bring it in India.

Lifestyle version will be available in Russia. Only Lifestyle, sadly.
