Pro cameras do not have flash (so they are rubbish) :)

Do you people not understand the concept of android? Your phone is NEVER out of date. The updates allow it to perform better and better. You should have gone with the google branded phone if you wanted to be safe and always be the first for updates.

"all this is still rumors, there's no official word from Google just yet"

Hmm...if it's a Rumors then how could it be "confirmed" ??

they don't have to chill with updates. Instead, they have to make the system parts upgradeable trough Android Market too, so you don't need to lose stuff if you want to upgrade, and by that, upgrades could come out as soon as they are released.

I can't say my source but I've heard quite trustworthy rumours that says that SonyEricsson will have the first phone on the market with the next generation of Android OS. That said I don't know if it's an upgrade of 2.2 to 2.3 or something like that or if it's actually version 3.0.
