hey, 02 Jul 2010Ha, really? Never have I ever said that here. I never linke... moreOh I'm sure not all iphone users like Steve Jobs, but they don't dislike him enough that they would return their iphones :)
Have you heard of the rule of "cause and effect". What's the effect of a bad product? It would be returned by the users. If the iphone is that bad, all those 1.7 million units will go right back to the Apple Store. But why hasn't that happened? Because iphone users are still happy with their purchase and still feel better off with the iphone than other devices. Simple as that. Now soak that in :)

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2010Freedom of speech does not justify ones jealousy hateful ch... moreAgain the jelous? Don't you people know anything else to say? LOL.
Beautiful IT'S NOT THE SAME AS WELL DONE, WELL TESTED, GREAT DESIGN!
Professional reviews? Ok...have you read all the complaints about that little and insignificant factor called SIGNAL LOSE and DROPPED CALLS on the same reviews....? Don't be a hypocrit.
And now you call a bug the dropped calls??? Steve Jobs, another hypocrit like you said there isn't an issue, the blame is on the costumer side because..."you don't know how to hold the phone", be serious if you want to be taken seriously.
I don't have a prefered device, i used cells like tools to help me in my job and daily life.I use my phone for more than a social statement of the "me" thing, and you? The problem with this is people talking sh** about the great and allmighty IPhone 4, all the advertise of the product (WHICH Nokia, Samsung, etc. doen't have) and all the promises, so, you can't compare.
Why don't you go and see how many IPhone 4 Apple sold in Japan...have you seen the devices they have there? Do you know the kind of services they provide since....forever??? IPhone is just a nice device, with a lot of flaws in desing, and that's the problem, too much design, no R&D or prerelease test.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2010Well they should return their iphones if its defective. &nb... moreHa, really? Never have I ever said that here. I never linked to any of their comments saying their phones are defective. I don't have some grudge against it. In fact, if you search for my comment down below, I even said I liked the iPhone.
Now you're getting all defensive and saying a bunch of nonsense. I'm only showing you that you're wrong when you said "The ones making a big deall about all this are non iphone users who are jealous and see this as an opportunity to badmouth the iphone :)". Even people who DO have the iPhone don't like the way Jobs is handling things.
I find it appalling that you label me a hater now. Please, just be quiet.

[deleted post]I did not lie about the screen orientation of the n900. When it was released, it can only be used in landscape mode. Only when you're making a call that it would go portrait. It also couldn't send mms. That is the truth.

It says opinions so heres mine,,i dislike not hate the i-phone because its someone telling me what to do,,i do what i want subject to the law ..I pick up a fone and make a call never ever have i ever ever thought about how to hold ,,you just make the call..I use bluetooth and mms a fair bit and just about anything else i like on my smartfones whatever the company bar apple..
I cannot believe you the i-phone crowd allow yourselves to be stifled by a product just cause it apple,NO OTHER COMPANY WOULD GET AWAY WITH IT..If any other company bar apple had these restriction it would be ridiculed to the point of bankruptcy..I mean for crying out loud the other smartfones are tweaking and porting and optimising and customising all the time yet you cant even do simple things on an i-phone that other fones have been doing for years..
I will never own one, but i will defend the people who speak ill of the i-phone cause it is a stifled product with probable fantastic capabilities that will never happen due to steve jobs secret little sect he operates within..

hey, 02 Jul 2010Even some of the people in the Apple Discussion thread I ju... moreWell they should return their iphones if its defective. I would. So what's your problem? Your problem is, no one, or not a significant number of people returned their iphones. You do not want iphone to sell because you want people to buy your preferred device. You do not want the iphone to be successful because you want that success for your preferred device. So you jump for joy when you here issues about the iphone, hoping that it would discourage people from buying it, but because it doesn't, you guys get upset with iphone users, to the point that you haters would lie to deceive people.
You haters even created a fake Steve Jobs twitter account announcing a recall. You haters published a fake email dialogue making Apple look uncaring and arrogant. So you think that's a nice thing to do?

Or better yet, get a case for it and that issue would be non existent.
The ones making a big deall about all this are non iphone users who are jealous and see this as an opportunity to badmouth the iphone :)

"This is a cosmetic fix, not a cure. Unless they dont want to own up to the problem, slip in a real fix, and go on there merry way."
One customers thoughts on it. I don't think that a software fix could resolve a hardware issue. We'll see what happens next.

I think this is just ridiculous. Why would a software update to fix a "faulty" formula be released in a few weeks? And this is just a huge slap in the face to AT&T. This error just implies that AT&T is worse than they are. I would love to hear AT&Ts comments on Apple's findings.
But come on people. Don't people who still defend Apple find it at least remotely suspicious that after 3 generations they finally decide to release their own "case" which only covers the antenna? I really find it hard to believe that this is just a coincidence.

Incredible! Is this the kind of customer support apple provides???
Who is unable to admit its own fault is a loser. The opposite(!) is what inspires confidence and keeps brands like Intel, Microsoft etc at the top of sells. Even if they are not everyone's cup of tea, at least they recognize faults and provide solutions. That's why Apple never exceeded much more than only 5% of pc market share, and if they continue acting like this the same will happen to their mobile phone branch too.
