Weekly poll: what's the ideal screen size for a smartphone?

Phones should be as compact as possible, but big screens are good for browsing and games. I want a 6 inch phone the size of a z3 compact, but that is not possible. So I have to settle for a 4.6 inch screen on my z3 compact. That, I do not have to complain. The body size of z3 compact is perfect, I wish the screen is bigger without making the overall size bigger.

But back then the technology was not so developed.
(It was beautiful device, though. And for the first time I enjoyed pocket PC.)
That's why I called this poll dumb- because the size of the screen and the size of the phone are not same thing.
See the huge iPhone 6 Plus. LOL

i use note 4 feat with ZeroLemon. i not even feel big. i would said 6" , 5000mah is the must.

I perfer a 5 inch screen. It's the perfect size.

I started with 5.5, i changed to 4inch, it looked small, i went to 4.5, it was still small. Then i tried 5.2, it was good at the beginning but i soon lost interest. Am back to 5.5 and i love it. I want try 6inch as long as it has huge battery. Once i confirm mate 8's battery is truly a monster, then there's nothing wrong with such an adventure..

All the tech media was basing 5" screen as a hell. Now they even don't count 5" as a phablet..LOL iPathetic. Just because their lovely Apple made 5.5" device in 6"phone body.
Well , Samsung made the big phones popular though. Tech media didn't even count the first Note(5.3") as phablet.

the IDEAL screen size for a smartphone is in fact a SCREEN TO BODY RATIO around 73-75% !! to make a very compact 5" - 5.5"

i really wanted a 5 inch phone, but bigger version of them usually has better specs. seriously screw this "plus, max, pro" nonsense, i want a better spec'd phone, but i dont want a bigger phone.

Come again after main players(apple,samsung,sony) release 5,8+ mid-range/hi-ends. There is also that thing - it depends how big your hand is or what is satisfying your needs(movies,websites,... are better with big screen). Also matters screen-to-body ratio like 5.5 Z5 vs 5.7 note5. Let's not forget bigger phones got better battery endurance(S7edge,950XL,iphone6sPlus,note series - are newest examples), well lg got bad endurance as whole, and sony uses 4K so its hard to include. There are folding phones also coming soon, so do not tell me someone wants small screen, they just want small phones. I can say there are some restrictions, like going from 4inch galaxyS to 5,7inch note3, but as long as you can compromise you get a lot more of shiny screen, and considering what want people the biggest screen is still trend, its not like phones as we know will last forever..?

BTW its dumb poll , to connect the phone size only with the display size. There ate many huge phones with small displays. Bigger screen is always BETTER if fits in the size of the phone you preffer.

5 inch, that's it. And make less bezel from different sides. It will be more convenient to use.

At 1st body ratio.s7 edge perfect size and ratio.iPhone 6s plus 5.5 screen size,but big bezel, wide size. So S7 Edge is perfect. 5.5 perfect size.

It need to be use with one hand. So less than 5 inched. Maybe like 4,5" at the most.
American do not understand rest of world. Because im use m other hand to carry food and for hold on to ride outside of bus to go place in city. Can not have big phone in that case. good!
