But a phone is more than just hardware, and iOS and Apple's ecosystem represent that complete product value (and I'm not just talking iTunes). An experience like that does not yet exist in the Android and Windows space, although certain elements of it do.

Out of Android, Blackberry, Windows 10 and iOS, the worst in terms of quality is iOS.
"All phone OS' have bugs." True. With iOS, It's not just having bugs. It is the number and severity of bugs that Apple has with each new major release that has been a problem since iOS 5.

I will add that there is a difference between brand value and product value. Up through about the iphone 4, the iphone had product value. In that I mean that it was a product that had many things which were not available in the market and paying a premium for an iphone made sense.
In my opinion the iphone no longer represents product value. There are many other options out there with more features, similar or better performance and at a lower price.
Unless someone must have the Apple logo or IOS on their phone they can save a considerable amount of money by purchasing another brand.

iOS is more robust (since its not an open source), simpler and way more consistent. The downside to that is lesser features and customization("isheep" and "sheepable" terms came up i think bcoz without customization, they all look almost the same). There is a certain limitation of what can be done here. one good example from my recent tackles, i couldn't find an app in iOS to stop my 5 yr old nephew from keeping his ipad too close to his eyes and using it (i maybe wrong, in that case kindly let me know name of such an app :)).
Android, is more of a feature rich, intensely customizable OS. Downside to that is, there is an added level of complexity and it takes a certain level of effort to setup and maintain.
By windows, i assume u mean windowsphone, which sadly is behind both as its not robust yet and lacking in features much more then iOS as of now.
So i'd say its a tie between iOS and android (comparing them both is ludicrous to being with in my opinion), followed my windowsphone.
Now i'ld like to see you explain how you came up with the order, iOS, windowsphone, android :D

I'm tempted to call the other two to be equal, but iOS slightly loses out in its insistence of form over functionality. Yes it's smoother due to its foreground stressing nature, but it's not necessarily faster, that's very visible when you try to do many things at once. Also iOS has more "good" apps, but at the same time it also lacks functionality that is there in android, like greater levels of customization, chat heads support, etc...

Although i do not like the special way these phones produced by Apple, acknowledge that the company has managed over time to impose trend among phone manufacturers.
In the past two years, Apple has lost touch with reality, and remained far behind other manufacturers. Is this the swan song of Apple? Frankly, i would not want.
They are able multe..surprize since. Waiting for their..... return in games place.

here's the funny fact, when there's an article about ifhone, all the androidz user bashing it, when there's an article about a specific phone like sammy, those isheep bashing as well as other androidz user who uses non-sammy.. and what's worse is almost everyone acts as die-hard fans claiming their phone is the best but denied that they were fans..

U pointed out apple beats wireless headphones as one of the reason to upgrade, so i responded for it (its relevant, you have bluetooth speakers is not).
Check out the comments from apple fanboys on android pages, there will fair amount of trash talks atleast as much as any apple page, if not more... and i go against fanboys all together. When you start using words like, "as*droid", you just loose your credibility like any fanboy does....
Not once have i stated that android is the best or iOS is the best or iphone sucks anything subjective in any of my posts. Iam a tech fanatic and a fanboy hater, nothing more, nothing less :)
