Although Symbian doesn't offer as rich a user experience as other OS around, I do think that Nokia phones have the best features and are very functional. I'm still not sold on Symbian for touchscreen (and can't wait for Nokia to release their Meego device), but if Nokia ensure that they don't release a buggy and unstable N8 (a la N97), then I would be willing to try Symbian 3. Early prototype devices on youtube look pretty good - the phone looks fast and responsive. And if it is indeed going for under 400 euros, then it may be too good to turn down! All depends on the stability of the software though!

not sure if nokia is worried or not that they dont have a decent touch phone for mass market at the cuurrent market, n900 is nice but the ui is bit difficult to mass market.
Release n8 and make sure meego phone to be shipped before xmas

Symbian is kind of a ugly OS but most people skin the OS, cause it's an open source and can twisted and changed whatever way you like. There are skins/themes that looks exactly like Android and iPhone OS for Symbian Touch if that's what you prefer.
No company is perfect. Nokia focused to much on the multimedia and forgot the user experience, Apple focused to much on the user experience and forgot that people actually need to make calls.

My next phone! 6 mounths i have nokia 5230 and i love it! Screen,music,videos,browser...and i just cant wait to get N8! What a beast! Great job nokia! This is better than any amateur camera!

Actually, I think you need to do some research too, its very common knowledge that Nokia's phones has been unfinished products even in store, Even nokia's headpeople admit while ago that n97 was crap user experience and yes it sure was :D
Why jealous about nokia's "amazing" N8? for example i can bought it if i want to, you know?
I had too many nokia's and i know their problems, hope they fix it with N8 but its hard to believe in their fairytales anymore

A good camera shooting is important and inneeded in smartphone nowaday whatever with in any brand phone.. I dont get understand why some people said NOKIA copying appl e or android ui..haha..thats funny..you better said |g or smasung copied iphone(ilame) with the almost same icons.. Again..NOKIA never wasted their time on this stage and it is a introducing from NOKIA with his camera samples..Like I said before,sometimes the e yecandy ui can bring the i llusions for the consumers who think their ui is smooth..the problem is the UI..not softwares.. Seriously..if u are really a expert photographer u will know the street photos,flowers photo is the most difficutly to captured..its is too many details..thats is impossible to ask NOKIA show or post some life s tyl3 photo even with your buddy photos or gathering photos up here..haha!!!

Please get a life. The Iphone 4 is in beta stage at the stores and with the customer, remember not to hold it the wrng way, lol..

Nokia N8 Rocks & IPhone 4 should be sent to China and should be given to the thirld World countries in Africa as Charity.
Even the third World countries would not accept the IPhone4, even if they got it for free, as they would require a phone that does the basic job of making and rec'on calls, however if you gift it to them as an IPod, I am sure they would consider accepting it, as they would pity you that you are trying to get rid of it, LOL!!
Dump the IPhone 4 and get the Nokia N8.

what on GOD's green earth has nokia just unleashed .........this will do damage for sure and get their overall market-share skyrocketing.i bet with symbian3 and some meego devices they will go up by 5 - 6%

Everyone is said the se satio will get the NOKIA N97 market..but on the contrary..it doesnt..you know guys?? why people like to get a NOKIA N97 or N97 Mini?? SIMPLE reason..Although NOKIA N97 or N97 Mini Juz only has 5Mega pixels camera but the camera sensor is aunthentication with CarlZeiss optics sensor..of course and the software functionally..se satio has no widgets..no OVI Maps..OVI Store..and the most important point is se satio is not so stable..
Here said the appl3 is a big lier..u ask me why???

Everyone knows the iphone4 its has a retina display..but this display is totally not in useful..remember st3ve j0b is also said that in WWDC 2010 when the n3w iphone is announced.."The new iphone 4 has 326ppi display called retina display..again..human eyes juz only in not over 300ppi"..Now I would like to ask app|e..so why u guy want to made it?? appl e said the "retina display is giving you a comfortable and useful experience when you s urf internet or view pi ctures"..So now..I want to ask again..it really works??? NOT SO SURE..why?? Is because the retina display is not so suitable with human eyes when u not using the zoom..
Yup..I can see or viewing my website with full website and no any frame but u also wan t to zooming before you read the documents or everything on da website..u definetly cannot see til l u zooming..so what is the differents??? Compared with iphone generation 1,2G,3G,3GS is SAME THING..
Again..the picture viewer..iphone4 juz keep you zoom your dat a with untill largest into your picture or photo..it doesnt show the beautiful colour on all your data (images,picture,ph 0to)..
If u drive me to have an iphone4 with 5MP with LED,retina display..multitouch ui,32gb st0rage..
Im telling u Im better choose the NOKIA..I got my NOKIA phone with CarlZeiss optics camera,32GB storage with external memory card slot,multitouch UI,AMOLED screen with display in brightness,colourful colour..Again,with powerful OS l¡kes SymbianOS,Maemo5&6,Meego..etc..LOL
