For this prices and if the OP3 is available as in being invite free, will give up waiting for the mi5 and get the OP3.

Have enough of this stupid hyped up flash sales. Being hyped but no stocks is pointless.

AnonD-404331, 02 May 2016the 6GB of ram wouldnt so much be to counter Androids resou... moreIt shows how little you understand Android and linux kernel. Android can use as much ram as you are going to throw it immediately. It merely caches the opened apps making them ultra fast. I much prefer to make use of the extra ram for caching than for bloated apps, so NOW is the best time to use the extra ram, before apps get bloated...

Like my 3gb phone, it was actually faster when it was using Kitkat, because I was able to use more of the 3GB effectively (for app caching), which meant less loading for me. Sadly lately my apps load a lot more ... Let's hope app makers won't take heed of what you said, Ram is better used for caching NOT for individual apps, so I pray that what you say won't come to pass (future Android "needing" this much ram)...

Dirt cheap these days, great cameras even for now, but most importantly continuous updates that actually put value on the phone. The latest one (lollipop), actually made it faster. First I see of an update making a phone both more capable and faster. MI4 is pretty much the standard by which I measure how other phones should be, I'd be honestly curious to see where it failed you.

More than a dozen people to whom I recommended it are more than ecstatic, they still can't believe the value they are still getting from it (one guy even turned it into windows phones because it has better support of the apps he is using, yeah! There is an official way to turn it into a windows phone, that's a first for any phone ...)...

Ios or Android is a personal choice. For safety and security concerned people apple or Google nexus is the only way for atleast 2 year term since most people don't upgrade every year. Now it comes to price. Apple always ask ridiculous premium price you can see the sales now.and Google offers a very stock Android. Here comes android OEMs with their price and design variation. Chinese l, Korean all give many option to fit many people and that's the point. So everyone can enjoy the premium experience in a budget. It's upto you and your budget you want security and peace of mind for atleast 2 years or just chilling a year with cool new features. No need to bash people and countries.

its already out flooding one plus two phones, but make sure its the beta release, cons comes along with it, marshmallow has been a battery drainer for me, but with few Fource stops its back on track, system and fingerprint sensor has become lightning fast.

When chi... moreWhile Chinese device quality is not as bad as you're making it seem (Xiaomi and OnePlus, anyway), I agree with you in that you can't have everything for a fraction of the price; that's just not how any of this works. When you compromise on how much you're paying, you compromise on what you're getting, simple as that. That's not a bad thing, as long as you know that you've made a compromise, and don't expect the world from it. I just can't stand it when people say you can get everything from a Chinese device for less than half the cost of other flagships.
Also: I don't know about China, or other Asian countries, but Indians do care about quality - AND quantity. We want both, but we tend to lean towards quantity, because, at least in my experience, it doesn't matter how well built a device is, we can and will break it. An S7 would die just as fast as a Mi5 in my hands. ;)
By the way, nice to see another Xperia fan - very underappreciated devices. Unfortunately, due to price, and their refusal to use a more durable glass, I couldn't consider any of the Z line after my ZR's display shattered 3 times (only one of those times was the drop bad enough to justifiably cause a shatter). Now that they've launched their X line in metal though, I might be able to a couple years down the line. If they're still alive by then, that is; they seem intent on shooting themselves in the foot lately.
