I would buy the nokia if it would have the battery of SE(up to 3h of talk time for 3250 is ridiculously low) and windows mobile :D.

S60 is all times best operating system for small/medium (not UIQ) smartphones...

Nokia 3250 is better in despite of its camera because it is a smartphone.

SE-W810 is definitely better coz Nokia S60 platform is too slow for a smooth operation & the nokia speakers are no good compared to SE speakers, N3250 has a cheap plastiky look & feel to it !!! SE W810 rocks !!!

Its purely a matter of choice & liking to a particular brand.
Howvever my experience with Nokia service is much to debate about.
The service centres in my country have little knowledge on finer technicals aspects of the phone. They do not have the latest software updates even after one month after the phone is released. I had to run from pillar to post to get my Nokia 6230 software upgraded as I had problem connecting to streaaming videos
That was the reason which made me explore other phones. Now I have Sonyericsson K750i where I could download software updates my phone directly from the internet.
Also being a photography buff I am impressed with photo capabilities of K750i with its auto focus & true colour rendering.
Well one has to set and choose priorities. This applies to phones as well.
Nokia has variety to choose.
Sony Ericsson has better service
Nokia camera is dismal.
Sony Ericsson's camera is brilliant.
Nokia gives EDGE & 3G on many phones.
Sony gives either one EDGE or 3G. Look at K790 & K800
Nokia post sale service is bad
Sony does not need service. Software upgrades are in the internet.
Nokia shouts louder
Sony Ericsson plays cool

Certainly the camera of SE is going to be much better but I think NOKIA makes better videophones so video of 3250 will be better. Sound quality through the loudspeaker of 3250 will also better. iI dont know about headset. I would recommend both the phones. But the cheaper will sell more.

se has the technology far more than nokia.
se has always been superior in every aspect.but coz nokia is famous and available every where its been preferred.my verdict-se rocks and will rock with upcoming models and nokia's beware!

Nokia please come out with some thing new, samsung & motorolla have got a better & new technology i guess these days. SE W810 no dought is better in picture quality sound quality what else is left over. They call it smartphone both 9500, 9300 are the worst smartphones i have ever used the software get hanged, its tooo slow & also outdated. I am using SE P910i for abt an year never hanged even once even with a 512 memory card.

Sony will be a better choice. Symbian phone will hang and nokia these days after sales svcs is very very LOUSY.

I think w810i appeals to non-k750i or w800i users only or those who desperately want a 3G phone in their w800i. In my opinion, 3250 has a better chance in market this time.

Go W810! The 3250 looks a bit iffy with that swivel thing in the middle, maybe a question about phone surability. Anyway I think that realistically the Nokia will win because, well, it's a Nokia. Big brand image...

Phone Maniac, I dont know what youre talking about. These two phones are virtually identical in features; except for the fact that the Nokia's a smartphone and the Sony Ericsson is a walkman phone. Personally, I think that both will be very successful, and its not a matter of competition. The smartphone targets smartphone users, and the SE targets those (such as myself) who would rather a better media player.
My personal choice would be the w810. But if I needed one for business, I'd choose the Nokia. Its not a matter of which phone is "better", its a matter of what the mobile phone will actually be used for.

I believe Nokia 3250 is cheaper and also more value for money as the phone has more functions. I tried the camera not bad and the sound quality are good except the joystick a bit stiff. Symbian phone can do a lot things.
As for W810, basically not so refreshing more like the W800 except is in black color.
I would buy the 3250 first and later buy W810 when the W810 (usually more expensive and take quite long before the price drop).
Nowadays, only Nokia & Sony Ericsson is the only choice for me.
