[deleted post]Well u say its embarrassing, the Iphone 4 is so embarrassing in that matter, No Flash support while other manufacturers have it, Antenna issues, 4 falls on hard surface and u shatter the so called tough glass, and Apple are just covering for it. How embarrassing is that ? Oh yea and Facetime, reinventing video calling while it has been there for ages :). I think u should know more about embarrassment.
Nokia is not worst, all their device are outdated now but still are used widely and hardware performs amazingly which makes it live for 2 or 4 more years depending on usage, but there first step is the Nokia N8 and the upcoming so he is right we have to wait and see. Plus Symbian^3 looks nice from what i saw and the features that are coming are mind blowing.

I have gone throuh almost all nokia N and E series devices.
Sonyericson P series n recently nexus one to have a taste of over hyped android.
I would say that all the phones have their pros n cons bit last year i bought iphone 3gs for d first time n i have to admit that no other phone can reach d OS offered by iphone in near future. Its undoubtedly the best phone i ever had used! I will definitly buy iphone 4 in few days! Great job apple!

Predictions anybody:
1) apple recalls iPhone 4 to fix problem
2) apple provides free case insulating antenna from finger contact
3) apple provides free software upgrade that they claim "fixes perceived problem"
4) apple claims there is no issue & discusses other products

As a retailer, we have noticed the fault does not seem as significant in the UK, however it is noticeable. So far we have seen one handset with screen discolouration also. I feel as clever as the device is it should still function well as a phone first with fancy extras second; something it is not doing presently

For someone to post a comment and say the is no issue. My friend has iPhone 3G and a iPhone 4. He has full bars on his 3G and only two on the iPhone 4.
My friend and me went to the flagship Apple in London. I held iPhone 4 with 3 network and he held the same model with Orange network. We notice that the phone with Orange sim in it dropped in about a minute. This test was carried out more than one, same result.
Also I work for T-mobile and a customer of Orange came in complaining about the same problem and said he will return the iPhone for the same problem.
I dont think this is a software issue. So Apple may have to humble them self and do a recall.
HTC DESIRE is still the best phone out there wait for the softwar update, trust me then you will see speed.

Its a great phone and I agree with the comments about the battery life being much better than expected but there have been one or two little issues that have left me a little disappointed. As for the clown who says that all apple users "not smart", well an intelligent person knows better than to generalise. Probably the sort of person who thinks all blacks should sit at the back of the bus.

THERE is a lot of people who would gladly buy an i-phone if you could use it how you want instead of been told how to use it and how and what you can do with it..Watermarks on screen are they taking the mickey ,,apple is an overhyped JOKE to me ..I just cant believe what this company is ,its just awful..

lasts me well over a day and i watch films and listen to music on lunch and when commuting to work
to be honest it is better than they said when releasing it
as for skype, i do not have it so cannot comment

Fir... moreI admire ur opinion and I understand wat u have been through, but all of this is changing on the Nokia N8 so we just have to wait and see. But with my Nokia devices I've had no trouble, for example a good feature is wen the phone tries to connect to the internet or update it asks u if u want to connect and wat type of connection u wana use, on androids and iphones I've had no such feature which suks ur data plan out, like sometimes I have no clue why is it connecting on my nexus one and iphone. Yea there is the feature to go and switch of the 3G or data connection, but every time doing that is unsatisfying and time wasting if it was a button on the icon area it wouldve been easier, that's one point out of many, still I admire the UI but it serves me no purpose to tell u the truth.

Tomorrow's Press Conference isn't about Apple offering free bumpers nor a product recall.
Apple will be announcing that for a period of 21 days those iPhone 4 users that feel they are affected may buy a bumper at a reduced price.
