Jota4321, 13 May 2016Have you seen the price of wireless hdd? -_-the wifi harddisks are very cheap , you dont need to buy ready one , buy wifi empty box ($40-$70) and buy a 2.5 inch harddisk and put it in the case. 1 Tera 2.5 is around $60 so it will be $100-$130 total for 1Tera wifi harddisk.
half the price of samsung 256G SD and 4 times the capacity , and for $40 more can go 2 Tera and still cheaper

Professional photographers will probably buy those cards even for that 250 bucks. For others: price will go down ... eventually.

This is limited anyway. Not many phone can support over 128gb. If your phone says it can support up to 2tb then you can use this thing. Who will buy it? Photographer and media hoarder will want it desperately. Comparing price of this sd card and a new phone? What phone gives you 128gb internal storage in $250 price bracket. None of course. 256gb at this price is not such a gimmick afterall for an sd card this tiny.

bu anyways this samsung is overpriced for the capacity it is offering .
as for read speed , the Lexar Professional has amazing read speed of 275MB/s and nothing bats it today
