Apple gets all defensive, free iPhone 4 cases for everyone

16 July, 2010
Apple just finished off its press conference dedicated on the iPhone 4 reception issues leaving us quite puzzled, to say the least. At one point Steve Jobs was saying that every phone has a weak spot, then he...

Back to the two main facts

There were two key messages from the conference. The first fact is that there is NO iPhone 4 antenna problem. All phones suffer from this, and the iPhone is a superior phone. The second fact is that even though there is no problem Apple is going to give everyone a free case that will make the non existent problem go away.

thank you fans

iphonefan, 17 Jul 2010perfectly reasonable and generous for Apple to apply a fix ... moreOk the truth is, there is a problem which is being covered, u know why ? Its and external antenna which is sensitive even to falls, unlike other devices which are internal and are better protected from the human body minimal electric current which interferes with the antenna. Oh u forgot the faulty proximity sensor and the glass covering easily getting shattered, u want me to explain them too ?

DivX format and Xvid most likely to carry virus as its all pirated video
format. So we don't want to play that format

Steve said MOV format is clean and virus free, and using apple store guarantees this.

cant stand the arrogant steve job anymore....steve job never really feel sorry or apologize for their faulty phone....its the same people as previous, he just claim that every phone has their weak spot and giving us free cases is not because they have messed up but its because of we want a free cases...
paying that much money for a faulty phone....daxn it....i will return my iphone 4 right now and never step into a apple store anymore....

about the attenna problem, its actually just a very small mistake make by apple if they could fix it in time, but what really peace me off is they never feel sorry or take some action in time....only after 3weeks they finally come out with a press conference but still i cant see any sorry when they actually knew their atenna problem are haunting everyone ....

iphonefan, 17 Jul 2010I've followed Steve for years. Only thing i wasn't sure ... moreWait a second now ur talking about hardware, ok do u know that most devices out there support micro USB these days, which means u can charge ur device anywhere unlike the iphone, and about durability, from my personnel experience I have never had any problems with my cables.

Second, no sd slot, wat if for some reason ur memory is full then u have to delete stuff, unlike devices out there they just fill their memories up an remove them and put a new one, which simply means infinite memory :) .. Makes sense now ? Or still Steve is right ?

Only thing i wasn't sure was not having miniUSB.
But he explained that the Apple cable connector is stronger and shielded. He's right, so agreed there on that.

Missing microSD solt. Memory is all on board. Again he's right,
older phones need that because they had like 2gb of memory.

Hundreds of things he has explained why and i'm happy with his answers. He knows his stuff.

This a like a movie, people who know can see through know the act, but people who are taken away just believe the actor and apply it as it is in the real world. Think for a second, clear ur mind, and check wats wrong with the antenna, check youtube for people getting dropped calls, ask urself about the faulty proximity sensor, and ask urself why does the hardened glass cover shatters easily. I hope u understand wat I say and not simply an ignorant teenager fighting over a motionless device and an organization which is sweet talking people.

Giving a casing does not means there's no problem or problem solved. When you buy a phone you would definitely want it to work with or without casing. I don't think giving a casing really solves this issue. Yes, at least, there is an effort made but their still not acknowledging it a flaw. They rather blame it on strong or weak networks.
I using a non Apple phone and I travel the world quite frequently to 3rd world countries. Believe me, I've never get dropped calls before unless I'm down at lets say B2 or B3 and that is when Im in a 3rd world country mind you.
