good idea, specially for people who always cracks up a phone, yeah youre phone has unbreakble screen, but what about the other parts??? If samsung can also make a phone that is water proof, shock proof, dust proof, i guess that will make sense

Ok, so it's resistant and flexible... Question is, will it be a capacitive or resistive type of touchscreen??? Or will it be a non-touchscreen?

Monty, 21 Jul 2010Yeah that video would be more convincing if they hit the fl... moreDude, not only did they hit them both equally, the guy hit the flexible amoled screen multiple more times and he even bent it while it was playing a video.

If that still doesn't convinces you then go wait 2 more years with the rest of the people who are going to get their minds exploaded when it comes out for sale (on phones obviously)

amoled...amo amo amo... amoled... :) (song frome the video)

what's the point? if you hammer the screen on your phone, the screen is useless if you break the rest of your phone. you can't bend your phone either. is it at least scratch proof?

Wow, makes my retina display look like sh!t. Samsung are the best. I admit. With this screen will come weight reduction, less returns for screen repairs, highly likely to be scratch resistant and with the cost to manufacture this screen also likely to fall will mean savings passed on to the end customer.

                                  No, they won't. Why?

Because I've seen this video like years ago.

Yeah that video would be more convincing if they hit the flexible display anywhere near as hard as they hit the glass display.

The immediately solution to a common problem mobile users face is LCD crack and AMOLED is the solution to this.
