It's strange you know how the test of the antenna is being done. I tried with my Omnia 2 the way it is described, and there is actually no change in the reception. Are the antennas tested at usual place, like home and malls?

If I right hook any iPhonist while he's talking on his iShit 4, (3G , 3GS, 2G, 1, 0G, -1G, -2GS) he would loose the call, and probably some blood.

APPLE are frauds!!!!!!!!
They didn't even bother charging the N97 mini. It's about to turn off.
What's impressive is that EVERY phone in their tests had FULL reception to start off with. the iphone had only 60% maximum. Talk about bad reception...
In all my years I've never dropped a call with Nokia. Pathetic APPLe are providing a scam. Don't buy into it *DOH*

it is logical if you cover the antenna (where ever it is based on a phone) with ur hand the signal will drop a bar or 2. but it will not affect call and dropping them...

Desperate apple!!
With my best efforts I could make my X10 drop signal by only 10dBm (from -64 to -72) which in most cases is not even a single bar. I had to cover up the phone completely (in such a position where I wont be able to any thing with my phone anyway) to get this which is how it is with other phones, I presume, except apple.
Most of the cellphone users would not have come to know about sensitive mobile antenna if not for apple's poor (In their terms "revolutionary") antenna design.
Every handset maker advise their customers not to touch the sensitive parts, but that was never taken seriously still everyone was happy.
If only apple could use the time they spend to show faults on others theirs would be a better product...

this only proves that apple is desperate in proving that not only iphone 4 is experiencing that kind of problem...the only difference is that none of those cellphones that they mentioned experienced drop calls as what iphone 4 is experiencing..haha..nice try apple

I tried it on N97 mini and E71 and it drop only two bars. But the question is why Apple put the antenna on the side if they add adopt the design like Nokia and place it on the bottom they might have easy life

Well, to be honest Steve Job-less should shut his beak for a minute and consider the presense of Nokia as the Daddy of built in Antenna's and the've got 30 different models to take of... iPhoney being yesterdays kid needs to learn alot and bring out variety in its products... people expect prefection from an overhyped brand...
