We, need to support this and give em feedback. Just don't expect that this is gonna work around the corner.

maybe there WILL be expandable modules for memory and battery (because come-on, everyone wants more to these two things). I'm looking forward to a 4*4 fisheye/lens attachable camera module.

A stolen project! Motorola deserves the credits...buying Motorola for the soul purpose of stealing this project and ditching it to the hands of a Chinese crap like Lenovo... not only did Google betray Motorola they disrespected its legacy! (this coming from an all time google fan)
P.S. Motorola had promised to release Project Ara modular devices by the end of 2015!! Until "Google" did what they did... Good job "Google"(y)!

thos could easily be done but this would be end of smartphone manufacturing because nobody would buy a new platform when you can just replace the components where those would be highly hacked and copied by "steve in his garage".
we could power our world using hydrogen. here at one of the unis in pensilvaniawe got stripped of our hydrogen powered engine by our head teacher who told us "come on! how would you make some money when everybody can refuel themselves...
no profit-no tech!
