Apple4life, 26 Jul 2010The issue is crazy at this stage... so we iphone lovers are... moreN97 and N900 may not have been YOUR favourite phones, but atleast at the end of the day they both did the basics PROPERLY: keep a good signal even in patchy areas, didnt drop calls due to them being held "incorrectly" and best part, their manufacturer didnt go pointing fingers at others due to their own fault, love how you conveniently left that one out.

apple failed in pc business...making obsolete and extremely high prices devices...i wud love to pay extra for ibm or sony but not for agging apple......then apple jumped on to become a cell phone company and even after 4 years...came up with a device of such abismal quality....i m doubting that apple even dont test their device before releasing it....they are in a hurry to full their bags with dollars....and the consumers go to hell.......what a looser apple is!

I'm currently using both an Omnia i900 and Omnia 2 i8000.. Neither of them, no matter how i hold them, would have reception problems to the extent of dropping calls, at most, just a crack of reception loss for less than a second.. I'm still wondering how Apple managed to show such reception loss on the Omnia 2, I tried, maximum 1 bar down..

Well, of course any device that uses an antenna will suffer some loss if the antenna is obscured by a material that is not transparent to radio-frequencies. Try standing in front of a television aerial and certainly the reception will be impaired. Nobody in the industry would deny that such an effect exists but only the Apple device is affected so badly because of the very poor design.
What Apple did was very wrong on at least two fronts - one was that they insisted on using an exposed antenna design even though advised against it by their own engineers.
This was very likely a decision by non-technical management too eager to bring the device to market. Secondly they then used the incredibly childish argument that "well, he did it too" pointing the finger at anybody else. A more mature management would have admitted its mistake and recalled all the defective devices. Incidentally does it seem as though when each generation of iphone is released the defects are becoming progresively more serious?

Realy hard to understand a company who is prising their phones so highm making them exclusive, do not do any RnD on their own products for reliability before placing the products on sale.!! very poor focus on cust satisfaction. look at nokia, they spend tons of money on RnD.

The issue is crazy at this stage... so we iphone lovers are crazy eh... none of the other handset available on the market are a patch on the iphone 4... Reception issues are ripe on lots of handsets but never get the coverage.. The n97 was shocking and Id rather use the 4 as the n97 was a heap of crap.. as was the n900...
Apple all the way and good luck to all you suckers with your symbian and maemo operating systems.... Android looks trhe part but the A4 processor with ios4 is absolutely class..
If you dont like apple fair enough... I do and thats all that matters to me..

Voda, 26 Jul 2010It is time to put this to bed, i has been going too long, o... moreunfortunately mate apple have not made a mistake, they knew about the phones failings, they went ahead, and they are still making money. despite the thing being more likely to cook your brain than any other handset, but then if you are stupid enough to buy one, having a cooked brain is not going to concern you.

iphone4 really sucks! apple admit it now and recall your units! this way you can correct your design problem... i thinks this phone is a failure, imagine the units were already in the hands of the customers with quality issue???!!!!! customer has the right to demand apple for their mistakes... what if the call is very important/emergency and the call was cut due to antenna problem? how does it feel???? damn right??? steve jobs, you may now loose your job.. admit to the world that you are a big mistake!!!
