Original Samsung Galaxy J5 is now receiving its Marshmallow update

Hello, I've upgraded my Samsung J5 from Android Lollipop to Android Marshmallow. I applied upgraded. After completion of 100%, it restarted. But it shows SAMSUNG J5 Powered by Android (as normal) and then SAMSUNG in white colour and it only blinks (with brightness) Waited for almost an hour. Instead, camera site got lots of heat. Now, what could be the problem causing this? Can it be bard reset without loosing updated database? Please reply ASAP. Thank you.

Hy I Have samsung galaxy j500 Original but when i click for an update it doesn't do that marshmallow update why is that not Happening

today 12feb2017, I just upgraded my j5 to Android marsmellow.... everyting looks so great!!! You should upgrade yours

I request all who are updating their phone,, not to do anything while updating.. make sure your phone is fully charged and you have continuous data service available without any break.. Even a fraction of a break can cause malfunction of update.. Just leave the pone as it is till it reboots automatically.. you will never have any problem with updates.
Now coming to J5 Recent update,, It has made my phone much smoother and i understand that it takes care of some security issue.. happy updating

This update is works perfectly, no issues at all, but the only problem is the poor internal storage, only 1gb free in Indonesia version SM-J500G/DS

I updated my Galaxy J5 on 3 December 2016 to the new Marshmallow software, I deleted a lot of apps and had 100mb's more than required. Download the new upgrade, installed it. It updated, restarted and for more than an hour stuck on the Samsung logo. I eventually had to pay money to have the old Lollipop software, only for it to work but not save anything. I cant save camera pictures, The phone cant pick up my SD card (which works in my older phone, I first thought it a faulty sd card) but the worst I cant go on internet. with mobile data and WiFi. Nothing.
I DO NOT recommend the new update, I don't think this version of software was fully tested, maybe my phone was not meant to have it. I was happy with the Lollipop software, now, I'm sitting with regret and less money in my wallet, for a phone that does not work.
