Man, Sony should release a phone with the same specs as the OnePlus three and work their optimisation magic. It would, mind you, blow every other phone out of the waterwater!!!

the thing mentioned in the introduction reminds me of when i bought parts for a new PC back then. so i had a 64bit CPU. it wasn't faster than a 32bit one and there wasn't really any software written for 64bit anyway. worse than that, some older programs didn't work anymore. and i think that hasn't really changed much over the years, has it? i guess the only advantage for me was that i could shove 12GB of RAM onto the mainboard

This is why I trust phones from reputable companies (Samsung, Apple, LG, Sony etc.) as apposed to upcomers (Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, Oppo, etc.). All bark (6GB RAM, 21MP Camera, Tera-core processor) but NO bite when put to action. Optimization, Efficiency and Refinery are KEY elements to making a true flagship.

Wouldn't the extra ram help more over time as things get cached?
But yeah, poor software. Didn't really expect much better from them.
They both use ufs 2.0 so no excuses there either.

Your phone's performance becomes unpredictable in such a case . User is always left wondering "What if I get a phone call between this race ? Will my progress be saved ?"

It is not only about the amount of RAM, but RAM management is also important. I see that Samsung's Touchwiz had no longer suffer from the RAM management issue anymore (at least for the S7 / S7 edge), but I'm suprised about the RAM management of 6GB RAM of One+3. I saw one video on youtube that it can open 8 games without refreshing and no lag. Hopefully the next software update for the One+3 will solve this problem.

Reviews of the memory are all over the place for this device. Mashable has over 50 apps open and it doesn't lag and the same indian reviewer of this speed test opened up 7 games switching between them very smoothly, yet in this speed test the op3 is struggling to open up one app.

Also there are so many complaints about op2, one should buy op3 if they live in tier1 cities only.

Watched every single review for this phone but the 3,000 mAh is too little and ram seems to be having problems.... I may wait for 1+4
