Nope I won't. The curved version if really dope. Would be too expensive for some though

After last year 5.7inch edge and no note here its to be expected. Phone will look more cool(what samsung wants when comparing to apple,...) and one variant means lesser price, like imagine last year s6 32,64,128gb, S6edge32,64,128gb, first and last price difference. It means it wont be cheap but also not pricy. I tried edge phone, using it feels different from flat screen, enjoyable, new. Regarding possibility of cracked screen, nothing is better than x force, and survival of samsung's seems better than curved lg's. If I could change something it would be like with S7/950/.. at least 2 sizes for ex. 5.2"note and 5.8"note. Well, its not like curved screen is end in the phone world, next comes folding, vr, ar and such.

no note for me then. let the women be curved, not the phones!

Mistake, looks like Samsung (who are in a win win situation being a display supplier) are appeasing Apple by knobbling their own flagship phone or it's availability. All to keep people's eyes on the iPhone 7. Same as Note 5 and very unfair on us power users/thinkers.

if the new note will only have a curved screen, i'll get the note 5 instead. it'll be cheaper by then.

Every year Samsung disappoint us one way or another. Last year no SD card slot. This year curved screen. When they launched S7/S7edge, they said: "We listen". So are your listening now? We want a flat screen. Make both versions and let the consumer decide and buy the one they like.

i don't see the need of a curved screen for the note. if they are not going to release a flat screen version, which a note should be, then there's no need for the s-pen.

3 people around me already cracked their s7 edge's screen, from an accidentally drop at PC's table height.

                            No sense.

A curved screen makes the phone more fragile and more difficult to use it.

Samsung I wanna buy my first Note, stop this bullshit

I have a question. How do you hold your edge devices on landscape mode, like when you're watching a video, using the camera or playing a game. I mean, don't you think that it'd feel better and more secure to hold if the phone came with a flat edge?

Plus they seem to be much more vulnerable to drops and shattering. SO I prefer the flat screen.

Anonymous, 22 Jun 2016Use one first before you come here talking. Sheesh!I tried the the edge and the S7, and found the edge to be so much narrower. I also couldn't find any of the so called edge features that added value for me, nor any bar the flashing lights when flat that couldn't be achieved on a flat phone. Phones are narrow enough that removing part of the screen on each side seems plain silly.

If there's a flat screened Note 6/7 I will very probably buy one. If there is only an edge version I will very probably not buy one. I find the edge phones visually unappealing.
