Samsung Galaxy Note 7 said to only be available with a curved screen

A new report suggests Samsung may not even be working on a flat screened version of the Note5's successor.

I like this...I am using the s7 edge up from the s6 edge and I have to say that am not buying any phone that dosent have a curved screen...I love it

      No flat note7 will kill the note series.and no.iam not interested in curved note7.ive had nearly all the notes.but sorry no curve plz.

        Truely disappointed. I want samsung to let users choose! I've held a galaxy s6e. it's awesome and all. but you need to be pretty damn careful when it comes to typing. and gaming experience is weird. samsung. let the users choose!

          For me its not about the curve or flat is about the specs. does it have external SD card, is the camera good etc. If yes i will buy and for the first time Samsung is re introducing the external SD card slog and using the curve will give me message pop up that i can just slide and see my mails etc. so it make sense and new functions iris scanners etc. so its good even its a curve dual edge.

              I won't be buying the Note 6/7 if there is no flat screen. The edge screen is cool looking, but useless. I think it's actually worse for viewing and useability. Who wants to view a screen for data or movies where the edges taper off? Boooooooo Samsung!!!

                  I don't know for care or not,but i buy smarphone is not just from screen edge or not but from the specs, just need smartphone with high spec,and why should buy that with Curved screen and note? And don't look from specs. Thinking before buy/look

                          I own a S7 edge and have to agree, the edge looks cooler than the regular S7.

                          But my main reason to buy the S7 edge was the screen size. If a regular S7 would have been available in 5.5", i would have been genuinely confused between the two.

                          I dont even use the edge features of the phone now. For the first few days, it was awesome to just play with the edge features, but now on daily basis, I hardly use all those features. Sometimes the edge screen does come in between normal operation of the phone like palm touch gets registered. But over time you get used to the edge screen and use the phone in a way that your palm doesnt touch the edge of the screen.

                                    If only the curve is more sloped. The current dual curved seems pretty flat to me. Unlike the original Note Edge. I like that old curved edge in Note Edge.
