If you love Oneplus just get your own one, but I will stay with Sony, Sony are serious in developments, not just leave without updates. Anyway, this XA is a midrange still a pretty phone and handy compare to large phones.

That Xperia XA is in the low budget category but priced like a midranger. Look at Redmi Note 3. Priced as low as $150 with semi flagship specs.

Korean can even use sony's cam sensor properly to produce better image quality than any sony flagships. And korean never put cheap plastic lens on their recent flagships.

Rather than looking at the country of Origin I look actual quality of the product itself.
I have used and still using a lot of Sony products including phones, and for specially phones their quality as well as after sales service is pathetic. There is no point paying them such a huge amount for mediocre specs.
On the other hand, companies like Oneplus are making high quality phones at reasonable price

Actually from the X series so far,I find the XA as best,and so overpriced as its bigger brothets.
Beautifull design,nice color options,fluid software expirience and great cameras.
Its a midrange after all!
Sure,many people mentioned a lot cheaper alternatives,mainly chinese no-name brands as Xiaomy,Lenovo,Letv etc etc. Always you can get a better deals on paper.But dont forget:you always get what you paid for ;)

It's display is both more brighter and vivid than RN3, which has a 1080p panel. There are more important stuff than resolution and this is where Sony nails it.
Helio P10 is more faster than Snapdragon 617 used in Moto G4+.
In 2012 you couldn't get a phone that has such a good display and powerful processor (compared to flagship processors of 2012, its way faster), you couldn't get for 21k.

but seriously.....Sony is on... moreI am currently using sony z3+(4), I found np with image processing specially when taking pics, its so detailed. Z5 has way better camera. For XA I can't complain because I still didn't try it. But I saw vedio at YouTube, that it could record more that 1 hour video without any issues, which is perfect!
Bro 300$ is way cheap, why would anybody complain about the price. It's within X series quality with just 300$. To be honest, I didn't believe Sony would lower the price this much, but obviously they made it!

What I'm telling you is to add $200 and go buy a branded(non-chinese) flagship phone. Iphone is great, Sony Xperia Z5 is great, LG G5 is also great. That is the kind of phone you should had buy instead of this ridiculously overpriced XA.

Among all the Xperia devices from Sony this is my favorite one designwise. These very thin bezels are in perfect harmony with the rest of the design. The big bezels on top and bottom just fit perfectly well. Great design, which seems to be fitting all the color options available.

but seriously.....Sony is one the only company......ever....ever... who despite being able to produce there own camera modules, uses a worst...worst quality digital image processing......awe full man...!!
