If you trust and love the China design don't bother at here just buy what you love. I know my phone is designed by Japanese + Sweden.

If they leave the mobile segment, I quit buying phones and going back to Nokia or Blackberry. Sony is doing well specially this year, they give us great set of phones and there is more at IFA. If you want to discuss about the phone or it's features go ahead, otherwise stop "trolling" we got bored reading for the likes of you. basically, the same replies again and again without true facts or concepts.

Not much R&D in design, same old like Z series, poor specifications and a hefty price. They don't even do much advertisements. On top of the pathetic after sales service. Whats up with you Sony? Why don't you just leave the phone market? Certainly its not your forte. Or do you wish to go completely bankrupt?

madmax, 26 Jun 2016I would really take that as an offense... We Indians are no... moreI had a Sony Xperia Neo V in the past. And some other Sony products. From my experience their customer service is worst of all. I wouldn't say Xiaomi's service is better. But Sony service centers are pathetic.
About build quality, in My Neo V suddenly touch stopped working, barely 3 weeks after purchase, service center took 2 months to replace it!! And when I got my phone, gyroscope and proximity was not working. I again took it to the service center they took another 1 month. After that I escalated it to their officials, service center called me and said "your phone is water damaged". I mean wtf! In 4 months I used that phone for say.. 4weeks. I took the phone without repairs.
Then they updated it to ICS, and the phone starts giving me problems, started hanging in between the calls. And that was a official update.
Same story with a couple of SD cards for my DSLR, I got them replaced twice. None of my S D cards gave me any issues till date(transcend, Sandisk). And the replacement procedure was not good as well. You have to literally fight with them for replacement.
Same pathetic experience if you buy any of the cameras. Worst service.
Hence I decided not to buy any Sony product, except headphones. Can't do without them, though for that as well I am moving to Audio Technika.

Then why pay more for a thing that anyway wouldn't last more than 2 years.3 at Max.

U hv no right to call us gullible regarding such a small thing.. Sony is a promising brand as far as I know.. I won't lie.. I don't use a sony mobile.. but I do use other products of sony.. They are good... And well Chinese are CHINESE.. u knw what when I was small me and my frnds called all the fake things chinese.. coz chinese is fake cheap and whatnot... Maybe xiaomi oppo or lenovo have better speced phones.. bjt what abt durability customer service...

Wow, $309 for a phone with 720p display, 5inch and 2300mah battery. It only have 2gb ram and using mediatek. Remind me of a chinese phone price less than $150. So, who wants to buy Xperia XA for $309 with that kind of specs instead of adding $200 and buy a flagship with 4gb ram, QHD display, and 3000+mah battery. Are Indians that gullible?
