Being that the placement of the fp sensor from an unbiased pov is the best for ergonomics. Now the sensor leaves two very very very thin lines of aluminum on each sides, come on how hard can it be to bend that? which is why it bends gracefully on that very spot Yes? Any phone with such design will def face that risk(Yes am looking at you Next bit robin). If it bends without intentional attempt(iphone 6 rectified with 6s) now there's a flaw. No phone should be bent intentionally anyways.

From now on, I'll choose glass. Glass = premium, it doesn't really matter if you break it on accidental dropping or what but as long it is glass for the so-called premium then durability is irrelevant.
I am sorry if u got angered by my question. That was a simple question/clarification that needs a simple answer. Sony should stop using polycarbonate since it is durable, they should use glass again since it is premium. It doesn't matter if it is durable but as long as it is premium, then that works.

I dont blame Sony for cracking glass as i have never experienced it myself. Period.
But i do blame Sony for this design flaw with the fingerprint sensor.

You dont see old Z Series bending/snapping like the Z5 Premium.
X Series will not bend but snap in half thanks to plastic frame.
