Windows Phone should be a refreshing switch for someone looking for something different than Android. Since Windows 10 has been out for a while now, hopefully the recent builds should be a lot stable. Worth a try for the unique user experience Windows phones offer...

Why would I pay near double for the X3?
Blackberry Priv is another overpriced item that a company has demanded
The Priv was on par with thee S7 and despite its high price offered NOTHING as purcasers wanted Blackberry 10 OS and it Android did not cut it
So here is the thing Blackberry have migrated to Android entirely as you can see in the other articles.
Eg Blackberry Classic discontinued and THREE more Android, instead it should have given or built a Blackberry version of Priv, and not force Android on its fans

That price for a crap dying OS, nty.....
This will be a huge flop on HP unless it has the option of 3rd party OS Installation.

Such a waste of good har... moreConsidering it will perform much better running Windows rather than Android, and the fact that Windows phones can actually be used in companies (Android is the least secure OS out there), make this a great productivity tool. Not to mention that Windows's interface is much more advanced, more useful, and it generally looks sexier than any launcher in the Play Store.
Considering these, this is more than a fair price. If it were to run on Android, the price would be at least $200 lower.

If you see the reviews of Lumia 950 and XL they are mostly about 5 months old.
I think you must judge how the current state is with the latest avaible update. Then Windows 10 Mobile are alright. Not perfect, but a lot better than before.
And this new HP will have the anniversery OS installed out of the box to.

My first and last windows phone was Lumia 950 XL and I had the worst experience with that ever. The windows firmware was so annoying and specially the lack of apps support. Even the apps it does support never worked well like Facebook. The interface, performance both poor. I sold it within two weeks. Never going back to that nightmare.
