I hope Samsung will l implement the UFS in the Note 7, otherwise they will squander a perfect opportunity to showcase their new technology. My faith in Samsung has been reinvigorated with their upcoming products, looking forward to seeing if they can meet and then exceed consumer expectations.

This may not "change everything", but it will change a lot of things. This is good news.

Thumbs up Sammy, if the standard is open (so every manufacturer can make these cards/slots) then even better. Nice job!

interesting, i thought it would take a bit longer for the transition since there was no phones compatible with the ufs but this is an easy way if Note 7 has the slot in it, if it doesn't, then we might have to wait till next year (or the end of 2016) to see the users perspective of the ufs, anyways, my respect for samsung for now ^_^

I hope Sammy will patent it as soon as possible XD. Anyway, this is the real innovation! Unlike other company there, innovates the color, the design, the blah blah blah! haha. No offense please because that is the reality. But regardless of their ways of marketing, I love there OS(the fruit company) so much.

Of course they should. Note.5 is sure outdated now without a card slot.
