the new processor come with new GPU which is the Adreno 205 GPU which is 3-4 times more powerful than the older one. Also, its processor is based on the 45nm process compared to the older 65nm which means it uses less power too.

I've been looking forward to the HTC Desire Z which for me its major advantages are the keyboard and optical track pad. They should of at least place a 1Ghz processor in there..come on HTC..you have a winner phone here for both professionals and technology enthusiasts..put a bit more meat in the processor and camera too..hope the quality can meet at that of Samsung Wave at 30fps. Why couldn't the weight be a bit lighter. Something tells me HTC are going to orf already have hugely disappoint it's fans. Bye bye HTC for me if this is the case.

I think I'm still okay with my Desire.

Whatever software enhancement this two has, dev at xda can find ways to port it in ol' Desire. Have faith.

Tsepz, 15 Sep 2010Good to see some proper powerful with great screen res, RAM... moreI think it's the other way around. It's easy for nokia to go with the bigger ram faster processor trend, but why do you think they don't? I guess they're main concern is battery life. That's why they are continuously making solutions to make a phone that performs considerably fast even with low processors. And remember, one of nokia's advocacies is to save the environment. But sadly, in terms of saving their company, they aren't succeeding these past years. Losing trust from high end consumers. They do succeed on the past, with S60 3rd edition phones. But it will take a while before they can get used to touchscreen devices. Let's give symbian^3 a chance. And if you don't like s^3's Ui, i guess you'll have to wait for s^4 since its main concern is User Experience. That would be a total makeover. Or wait for meego, if using a phone with low processor makes you feel outdated.
