TC, 24 Sep 2010Can you use IPhone as a "mass-storage" and transf... moreahem. Yes you can do all of those things on an iphone.

You just have to jailbreak it.
& before all you whingers start on with the "meeeh have to jailbreak..." arguments.

You also have to root android phones in order to do anything of note. You have absolutely NO control over an unrooted android phone apart from a few personalisation options.

& let me tell you. Having rooted an HTC legend & jailbroken an iphone. It's far easier to jailbreak an iphone than to root an android phone & the results in functionality are similar afterwards.

Just a thought before you constantly run off at the mouth about a phone you clearly haven't owned & know nothing about beyond the usual ihpone hating sheep comments seen on these forums.

Not that the basic Java games Android phone's can play are much good.

Of course it's hard to find fart apps for Android in among all the theme changers and ringtone makers.

Let's see, here's the Android phone's I've got to play with.

HTC Magic, HTC Legend, X10 Mini Pro, X10 (world cup video it comes with is a bit dated), Samsung Galaxy S (the preinstalled red Vodafone live icons look horrible), hey why can't I put a background behind the Apps like I do on my iPhone 4?

The icons look disgusting against a black background.

Galaxy S is almost impossible to brick because it can be put into download mode pressing power, home and volume down on startup making it possible to fix any problems by simply using odin to install/reinstall a new firmware.

Smarter way of managing things is what Apple's got.

For years useless applications running in the background have been causing problems for phone users, who don't know how to quit properly.

TC, 24 Sep 2010Can Fring use Skype? No, because Skype are hopeless, it took them a year to get a working version for S60v5, it took them months to work over 3G on iPhone's for voice only and Skype blocked Fring so Fring came up with their own solution.

As it says on their site an iPhone 4 can video call Android and S60 phone's and other iPhone 4's over 3G plus you will be able to call iPod Touch's using facetime over wifi, using an email address to connect.

I've got 220 Apps, 5.3GB worth, they wouldn't even fit in the Samsung's less than 2GB for applications.

Anyway don't you have to download some real hackers work from XDA, be careful and make sure you can roll back, so you don't miss out on Samsung's official version.
