What a useless piece of gimmick junk!
1) showing your face on the screen to unlock your phone seems idiotic especially in the public.
2) need to use it by looking at the sensor at a distance 35cm.
3) no wonder TouchWiz is so laggy and buggy as Samsung continue to introduce useless gimmicks after gimmicks.
4) why not improve on fingerprint technology by incorporating scanning directly on the screen?
HTC, Motorola and OnePlus > Samsung

Microsoft phones were meant to be the next big thing but their poor app store, limited devices with moderate specs and other issues have meant that their market share has remained tiny... it is now below a dismal 1%.

Youtube will be flooded by Lumia 950 vs Note 7 iris scanner speed comparisons. I like the animations on the Lumia though.

Of course they stole the technologies of small to bigger enterprises, even companies which they bought, then tranformed it in their inventions and then made patents of it for their own use.

In addition to iris pattern, they also included other biometrics like fingerprint, palm print, hand print, knuckle print, blood vessel pattern, retina pattern, ear canal pattern and DNA sequence in this patent.

Awesome new feature. . I remember back in the days how people used to come here and comment about the new revolutionary feature called "face unlock", and now we have iris scanner . Its amazing how fast the technology advances. On a side note i think it would be so cool if the phone would lock itself as soon as the user blinks or looks away from the display:D
